Article on LSE board states it contains high levels of nickel in the cathode(energy storage) 8-1-1. Thanks to the poster there. So it’s more nickel not less it would seem.

Plus you hear these things periodically in the battery space yet they often disappear into the ether..........

There are a lot of developments ongoing nickel and non-nickel batteries ... early days to get to commercialisation... few years away to be able to say these could be safe for mass adoption But all contain Lithium .

It would certainly be a gamechanger for us jailbird
they are talking about a high temperature running
lithium-ion phosphate battery that
DOES NOT USE NICKEL.

we are awaiting the next derisking event, namely the finance agreement.

HZM have done a mountain of work over a decade to get to this point, and yet the risk isnt over yet. We need that finance in place, and we know that a consortium of named banks have joined forces to deliver it, and Orion have backed us to the the tune of $25m which is as good a guarantee as we're going to get that the finance will definitely be forthcoming, however, even at this stage there are several potential outcomes, ranging from the no deal we've changed our minds, thru the equity finance model we expect, all the way to "you know what, we'll just put a bid in and buy it and do the work ourselves" from a major like teck.

the share price movement from 4p to 8p reflects the anticipation in the market that the deal is coming, which one exactly we dont know, but we know a deal will come.

this could easily 4 or 5 bag with the right kind of deal, or it could be a damp squib deal where the banks want too much from us...i absolutely hate it when the banks have too much control...

we also know that the finance has been delayed, but it matters not, because the covid disaster has stopped people moving freely around the world, so teams of contractors needed to develop our site will struggle to fly in, tho local workers will be abundant, so we have time to wait, a month or three, for covid to ease, workers to get pemits, and we'll want the finance done in time for that, yet a bid could emerge out of the blue at any time...so we take our positions and be patient.

Same here, in the red for the first five years. And kept adding throughout. Have always thought that if HZM becomes a working mine it will be OK.

Rich I wouldn’t worry to much, as others have said very hard to get timing perfect and this should be a transformation year for HZM. Been here many years and most of the time have been under water even over 50% down at some points. GL I’m sure it will back past 10p in very short order.

Soundbuy, not quite right, you will still be able to drive and buy secondhand but it's a ban on manufacturing new diesel and petrol cars, but nothing said yet about vans, lorries and buses.

Thanks Ipwil. I’m in and holding with the expectations of better times ahead. Also appreciate the market can take its toll but view the possible upside from the company and it’s projects is well worth the wait and will out way my current cumulative negative “hit” over the last few weeks .

Rich, when the MMs smella bit of fear or 'liquidatyion event' like ARS they ain't fools to give you a good price, they'll rip that bid away in the blink of an eye if they felt some people wanted to leave in a hurry. Made worse on a low volume environment were they don't expect much in the way of buying to soak up the ones they bought. By going lower quickly resets the buy price and value buyers become interested and often creates a bounce as then they aren't going to let those shares they just got low down go easily if there is no buy pressure. They are no mugs..... only thing to catch them out is a mid day RNS and then they struggle to 'control' the price...

'steep percentage climb down'?

Liquidity at times.........

They can drop the bid in increments of 0.3.....0.4.....0.5 at times.....doesn't take much to shave a few % off the share price

Salmonn thanks. Yep I bought with a view that this is an opportunity in the short to medium term minimum and perhaps longer . Still of that view if things come good as you suggest on matters....just didn’t expect such a steep percentage climb down so quickly that’s all.

Rich, if we could time buys and sells we'd all be rich. There should almost certainly be a major rerate when the finance deal is signed. And a second, perhaps even larger if a JV is agreed for Vermelho. I don't see buying before the finance as the wrong time. Most here would say buy and hold, but that's not advice, best wishes with whatever you decide.

Excellance I bought a few weeks back just at the wrong time (currently) so I’m down still about 15% . Any views of when the tide might turn ?

8.3p represents a 17.5% drop from the recent high, so another 250k added.

Could go to under 8 but the trend is set and lower I may not get.
