We don’t but I wouldn’t have thought he would take it down to zero,he has been an investor here for many years and watch the company grow, he’s probably in for a free ride now I would have thought.

Just selling his 1p placing shares,nice profit! Probable done now and that’s why we had the large trades before the RNS, hopefully we can now move on up and this is the start of the PR.

horneBlower, thanks, well worth putting it there. To me, it was one of the best interviews with JM for a long time; straight in with punchy facts on why HZM is such a good place to be encouraging more to get on board.
salmonn1, good point, competing interests here which can only serve us well in the future - and possibly not too far away now!

There is a large seller around, not often you can buy 1m shares in a single transaction, hopefully resume north once cleared.

Worth noting the interest from major miners, not only have Vale got a royalty in Vermelho, TECK have a representative on the board, Glencore have a share holding and Anglo American are neighbours. All have had personal contact with the HZM board which must count as a positive for future. And all have reasons to see HZM develop successfully.

I was running some numbers earlier - Vermelho cobalt alone at todays LME Cobalt price of $83,250 * 43000 tonnes of contained cobalt comes out at a whopping $3.58bn something like $200m revenue a year alone 2.5k/t annual production

Thats simply phenominal given its only the cobalt at Vermelho

Vermelho also has measured and indicated resources of 1.06 million tonnes of contained nickel

Then Araguaia has 1.5 million tonnes of high grade nickel

You see why I am excited? How many AIM companies at £45m (minus £9m cash) have two Tier 1 assets in a rising commodities market.

This is shaping up to be my best investment to date and I was an early Asiamet investor too!

JB did you mean Araguaia? Araguaia Capex is way lower than Vermelho at around $400m the PEA has already modelled the economics which are excellent and result in $1.3bn Free cashflow (after Capex) at $12k/t Ni Price @ $14k/t Ni Price its $1.9bn!

Vermelho is much higher Capex but.... Horizonte can/hope to adjust the inputs for Vermelho to factor in synergies with Araguaia

Note also VALE had completed FS on vermelho and had approved construction, only when they bought the additional project did they decide to proceed with the more near term project and put Vermelho back on the pipe line - then obviously Financial Crisis hit and changed the land-scape

Interestingly though, Vale sold Vermelho because they wanted to focus on the the Goro mine Project, which is/was under construction and bring to production.

Yet HZM are doing exactly that with Araguaia, but Vale could not do that

Thanks for the link, a good update.

Personally think the Mid 2018 can mean July/August. Much as I would want to see it by end of H1 (June 30th), he didn't say that, instead he said Mid 2018. Time will tell.
