22/5/2017 09:24 | HZD license CRISPR technology: hxxps://www.horizond | small crow
22/5/2017 08:56 | The Sunday Times article makes it sound like Crispr Therapeutics is the big competitor of HZD. I looked at their website - they seem to be making their own drugs, and not offering products or services, so they are not really a major competitor to HZD at all. Lazy journalism. On to the new technology. It's a good move. It's not a game changer - it may get HZD a few more service contracts and allow them to bring cost down on new NGS high copy number products. However, it does fit in with HZD's positioning as THE GENE EDITING COMPANY. Since AAV was largely superseded by CRISPR this gives HZD something exclusive to them that does something in gene editing of value. HZD will be sniffing around any and every new gene editing technology and they will be trying to get them on exclusive where they can. They've done well here. | kestelmill
22/5/2017 08:36 | Here's the Sunday Times piece from yesterday... | someuwin
22/5/2017 08:13 | SOrry - old Article from Sunday Times top share tips for 2017:- Iain Dey Horizon Discovery Group Who made the greatest fortune of the California gold rush? Levi Strauss, the Bavarian immigrant who sold the pickaxe-wielding prospectors his hard-wearing, riveted blue jeans. A great gold rush is under way in the world of biotechnology, with monumental developments in the fields of immunotherapy and personalised medicines. Cambridge-based Horizon Discovery Group is a Levi Strauss of this field, selling the pickaxes, shovels and denim overalls of gene therapy. It creates genetic material used to research new drugs, diagnose conditions, or even to create personalised medicines. Its clients include most of the world’s big pharma companies, research universities and clinics. Sales continue to soar across all its business lines. Costs are coming down too. Chief executive Darrin Disley, who is intent on building a British biotech champion, is acquiring American rivals and has shipped those jobs to Cambridge — part of a plan to trim overheads by £5m or so. The current price of 144p values the company at £134m. Analyst target prices imply 50% potential upside, however. A number of big shareholders, including star investor Neil Woodford and Jonathan Milner, one of the non-executive directors, have been topping up their stakes recently. I take that as a good sign. | xippy
22/5/2017 07:34 | Sounds a good rns, but needs a bio science degree to understand ir! | ayl30
22/5/2017 06:34 | Currently out of the country - what did the article in the times conclude? | cumbrian2
21/5/2017 23:47 | Presumably yes an RNS tomorrow given article in Sunday Times | beanol
21/5/2017 20:55 | RNS tomorrow? | someuwin
09/5/2017 09:48 | The company seems excited by what it is achieving, even if the market appears to continue to be rather indifferent. Science requires patience, which is not something the stock market is renowned for. I agree, a bid for HZD remains by far the most likely outcome. | mamcw
09/5/2017 07:22 | Very interesting update. This is a well run company though the market would like to see some profit and + cashflow in the years to come though I suspect in time it will become a takeover target | mirabeau
24/4/2017 09:14 | Interesting 100k share purchase at £2 this morning. Looks like HZD has survived the tree shake and is back on an upward path again. | mamcw
19/4/2017 09:55 | lucky you.. wish Id sold some at that level.. still hopefully they will get there dumping done with soon!!! | pjj71
19/4/2017 09:35 | Sold a few at 210p earlier this month - in hindsight perhaps I should have sold more and repurchased now | mister md
18/4/2017 23:31 | Its tanking because there is a seller and Imo its one of the bigger institutional holdings that are bailing out .Woodford has taken a big slice of the stock however it would appear the mms still have plenty to shift. The mms are masters at the game and spiked the share price to try and shift the shares only to tank the share price as soon as the sellers appear on the scene,be very careful this could end up back at 150p very quickly . | rbonnier
18/4/2017 15:52 | Getting ugly.. any ideas why this is tanking again:? | pjj71
13/4/2017 17:18 | I reckon the seller is back they've let Woodford get the share price up now they have resumed selling again back to 160p | rbonnier
13/4/2017 16:12 | MMs trying to walk down the share price at present. | melody9999

10/4/2017 19:03 | Hi I've sold out today wasn't very impressed with the after hours rns on a Friday granting options at an exercise price of 1p and I don't like the fact the seller hasn't notified the company and the market of their sales and current holding. | catswhiskas
