01/12/2016 15:45 | Lots of volume now to support mamcw and del's thesis that share price weakness is just a distressed seller being cleared. Hope so anyway! | phowdo
01/12/2016 14:33 | shame they didn't sell their stake to a would be buyer for the whole company.. fed up with this one... down every day... | pjj71
01/12/2016 13:35 | Thanks mamcw - much appreciated. That would make sense - a fund getting shot of a decent chunk in HZD, bearing in mind it has been illiquid over a few months, could be the likeliest reason for the huge downturn. Hopefully we get a few days of upturn and then I expect confidence will return. I have a good chunk myself but will definitely consider buying more. | deltrotter
01/12/2016 12:34 | I believe that the large late trade was the final holding from a small specialist fund that was being wound down (it seems that this fund has also been the persistent seller over the last few weeks). The rump holding was picked up by a MM at a bargain price, who it would appear has now basically offloaded it. Market is now pretty thin, but firming, as I tried to purchase a decent number at a cheeky price and was turned down. | mamcw
01/12/2016 12:13 | Success for HZD here anyway (number 8): | deltrotter
01/12/2016 10:23 | Some chunky buys would confirm the seller has been cleared IMO phowdo. | deltrotter
01/12/2016 10:15 | Its moving back up on little volume so you may be right del. Just need to see if that is sustained now... | phowdo
01/12/2016 09:46 | 380k sell at 102p reported from yesterday I guess. My opinion is a distressed seller. The company's order book is full and they have been announcing new contracts, so I don't think trading is the issue.... | deltrotter
01/12/2016 09:19 | Quite a drop. Seen too many of these smallcap falls recently be because of inside information rather than clumsy selling. Will look for any of: 1. Significant revenue generating news 2. Significant director buys 3. Significant volume before buying in again. | phowdo
01/12/2016 09:08 | agreed.. we keep getting promised jam but so far its been a right lemon! hopefully a buyout will come now | pjj71
01/12/2016 09:04 | This is either someone bored with managing their exit and just dumping or we don't know something that others do. Trouble is, with a relative lack of research, it is almost impossible to commit new money until the company clarifies what is (hopefully not) going on. | mamcw
01/12/2016 08:25 | clearly somebody knows something the majority dont.. | pjj71
01/12/2016 08:08 | What a complete dog of a share.. | pjj71
30/11/2016 20:03 | What was it Warren Buffett said? Be fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful. | kestelmill
30/11/2016 19:52 | Could fall to sub 100p this Friday. | blueball
30/11/2016 19:42 | Well my entry point was not best at all -17% :( | ih_546016
30/11/2016 17:21 | Looks that way - someone wanting out 190k sold at 104p! Looks like a distressed seller to me. Could be one helluva a bounce at some point. | deltrotter
30/11/2016 15:38 | Capitulation? | mamcw
29/11/2016 12:53 | I agree the lack of revenue transparency in the recent RNSs is frustrating. In these potential high growth situations, you are ultimately betting on the CEO to deliver. Julian Dunkerton did at Supergroup; I have a feeling Jim Mullen will do so at Ladbroke Coral Group and I'm betting on DD to do the same here, despite the dreadful share price performance . But then I like my glass half full :) | mamcw
29/11/2016 10:54 | Thanks Kestelmill. He certainly hasn't anything to shout about at the moment! Still, I am a patient investor and it is what the share price is in 2021 rather than now that matters to me. | deltrotter
28/11/2016 17:01 | Did you listen to the last few minutes kestelmill? re the bit about major news? | deltrotter
28/11/2016 16:56 | I listened to the presentation. There was nothing interesting in the first 10 mins so I skipped to the Q&A. -Although they are now focusing on achieving profitability Darrin Disley said himself he is never going to be the guy for organic incremental growth. This will put off a lot of IIs as it may be a little too exciting for them. -He said they are not looking at acquisitions at the moment but if they were to it would be on the products side, not services. -All service areas other than Molecular are growing. -Product margins should start reaching 60%+ and it's dependant on volume. -Service margins will be more like 50%+ -He seems to be suggesting that others might have IP positions better than HZD's (not sure who he was getting at) but HZD is the best at executing due to all the different technologies they can use together, and this can be leveraged to get the pharma partnerships and IP access. The first point is perhaps the most interesting. | kestelmill
28/11/2016 14:41 | lets hope for a takeover to reverse the constant losses sustained everyday.. | pjj71
28/11/2016 14:01 | Thanks for your post kestelmill. Will be interested to hear what you think after listening to the presentation. | deltrotter |
