The vote is not finalised yet.If they do not get enough votes i believe they go back to the banks and make arrangements.

Keep your shares and dont vote for bid.

At the meeting yesterday fat guy was asked if vote was not taken up would holmes go into receivership......fat guy said not neccesarily so.....that means they change bank covenants...simple...and share begins to float again...and eventually go up.

On 22 May 2003 a Recommended Offer was made by N M Rothschild & Sons Limited on
behalf of Health Club Group plc for the shares in Holmes Place PLC. The Offer
is subject to and conditional upon, inter alia, the approval by Independent
Shareholders of the Management Arrangements which are described in the Offer
Document sent to Shareholders.



The Board of Holmes Place is pleased to announce that at the Extraordinary
General Meeting of the Company held earlier today, the Resolution in respect of
the Management Arrangements was approved by Independent Shareholders.




Words and expressions defined in the document posted to Holmes Place
Shareholders on 22 May 2003 have the same meaning where used in this
announcement unless the context otherwise requires.

Any chance of some sensible discussion on where next? Does this mean that it will automatically proceed? If one hasnt returned ones shares do you automatically get them purchased... or does one need to submit them to get anything? Is there any point in still holding on?

Well........... where is the voice of experience and reason in this mad situation?

A resolution was passed today.This being for 95% of shares to allow bid schedule to take place.I am told the fat guy said there hadf been no other offers for the company.

Might have another barbie tomos...outside fishers office..its pork all round.
