PIC - not bowling quite yet but if it gets over 310 there's a good chance in the run up to results mid November.

I posted the CAZA bowl that formed earlier this year and resulted in a 300% rise, after consolidation it looks like we are forming another bowl and preparing for the next run.

Has anyone actually done any statistical testing of bowl formations? What is the probability of making money from bowls? I ask because only two of the four in the header are higher today than when posted. Even then I think RMV was a bit of poetic licence because it was more of buying a dip in an up trend than a longer term bowl. Having just gone back over recent posts (only two months worth) the vast majority have lost money at todays price relative to when they were posted. I would think the win:lose ratio must be very low unless by accident you hit the market timing just right by catching your bowl at the start of a bull market as per Jan 2013.

"TGL - A Quantum Leap - $26 Billion Market - £2m Mk cap (TGL)"

TGL's interim results are due by the end of September (i.e. Monday or Tuesday).

Positive indications of a reverse takeover (especially a quantum computing one), should have a very positive impact, as in the recent case of Adams (ADA).

From "Market report" in "The Times", Thursday 18.9.14:

"Finally, a little-known cash shell called Adams soared more than 300 per cent, before settling a more sedate 210 per cent higher at 0.155p. The company knew of no reason for the share price movement. Earlier in the week, it declared that Richard Griffiths, the "Welsh Wizaed" who founded the Evolution investment bank eventually sold to Investec, had lifted his stake north of 28 per cent. Those who watch this one closest expect a business to be reversed into the shell before the year end."

17/09/2014 09:31 UKREG Adams PLC Final Results
"...During the year the Board, in cooperation with shareholders and external advisers, reviewed a range of investment opportunities and I am pleased to inform you that a short list has been decided upon and is being advanced. We hope that the final choice will deliver substantial value to shareholders...."

Take a look at Adams Plc (ADA), a shell investor.

Has troughed after a recent fresh round of funding (Sep 2014), and now looks primed to re-rise because a new investment is currently being discussed by the Board to back into it.

Despite the substantial QPP share price fall, it is beginning to look as if a base line is being formed - is this what some posters would call the early part of a ''bowl'' developing.
