re Charts ... what I found is if I opened the actual KITCO charts on another browser, the charts seemed to come back within ADVFN.

After a few days I didn't need to open KITCO anymore and they are now fine within ADVFN.

Sorry I'm not a techie so cannot offer any advice and I seemed to have fixed mine by default !

agree pixi .. "rated higher than gold"

I'm not actually sure that can be validated.

Yes a Bitcoin is worth X but who said a Bitcoin = 1 ounce of gold ?
how can you value and compare something that only exists in cyberspace with a hard asset. why not say a Bitcoin is only worth 1/10th or 1/100th of an ounce of gold.

It's irrelevant as Bitcoin is just a speculative trading instrument and not a precious metal and store of wealth. If they introduce the Bitcoin ETF the volatility will make it only for the Las Vegas "investors"

Purple boots. My G&S charts are fine. A few weeks ago some investors here were talking about problems with their charts but I assume they sorted it. Maybe they could advise how they got over the issue?

Have you got the latest version of Java loaded? Other software?

I wouldn't touch Bitcoin with a barge pole. They are currently rated higher than gold, but are actually worthless. It's all in the imagination, I suppose!

This current uncertainty in PM's is likely to last a wee bit longer and then: whoosh, we'll be off to the races when reality strikes.

I don't see any particular negatives either Hectorp! Not sure we will reach as low as 220p ODR but have nearly done so twice this week so I will likely be wrong. Now if one or two of my other shares would just spike up I could perhaps switch into HOC and make my holding even larger. Nutter probably is an apt description of me if that does come to pass!

I haven't read all the post so this may have been discussed already, but the silver and gold charts are stuck on June 2015, and have been for some days. Anyone know how to sort it?

I can't manage trading what with all the whoops and tears. After the fund raise I bought in @ 55p and in fairly quick order we broke the sound barrier at 320p: a drop to 270p and sold 30%. Now have £90k at a cost of 60p. A comfortable holding and would only buy more if we see the stock below 200p again. Last summer I switched off when peeps were talking of 500p+ before Christmas. Some said they were even selling a house to put into HOC

I give it 1 week after fed raises interest rates before the next sustained rise in PMs. Volatility in mean time means cheap buying opps

ju - you do, which amazes me about you, knowing you.
I think to add this morning here, silver long traders will be largely out of comex at present, and we have a couple of weeks before the next worry comes along - !
The results ( Lauders, and others) I simply dont see any particular negatives so again, will buy this morning so thats around 233 I will pay.

I am very positive about a big turnaround sometime - i dont know when and neither do these media goons. I hold big amounts of CEY,FR,Shg,ASA ,STI,CGH,ITM - and you have to be an optimist to hold some of this stuff

Juju ~ no doubt you're a fine guy but wherever I see you post the content is nearly always negative: please do say where you're currently positive...... regular stocks are too expensive for me.

Let's all pretend we've sold all our hoc shares and say we think they'll tank and that silver is going to keep falling and that we're all short gold and silver etc and isn't the U.S. economy really booming and isn't life great.....

That is very good advertising indeed!

Remember the shares usually go up in anticipation of the metals rising.

Those in the know front running as usual I expect!
