At the moment, it looks like nothing short of a nuclear war will stop the DOW! The big question i have is that it is obviously in a massive bubble, so who is still buying and why....

Entities using printed money to get a claim on real assets or investors used to someone stepping in to stop the market dropping doing the rational thing and buying like mad?

Either way, it doesnt look like its going to end well for someone IMO, thats why i got out a month ago.

Lauders, I am largely with you as to the 300p thing.

If that is breached, and we continue to find support there with, or as a result of results, we will be fine IMHO.

But until then we are still not out of the woods yet due to the macro environment although, as I have stated many times, I believe it is largely to our advantage too!

Weak dollar, inflation, piddling if any interest rate rises this year and big spending programme that will be met by Congress doubters due to the debt ceiling.

Everyone keeps forgetting about it, including - surprise surprise - MSM, but it is the immediate elephant in the room. Before Dutch elections...

As Stevea suggests, there are plenty of tailwinds to play out this spring/summer supportive of PMs and HOC as a result. Keep the faith! Which I see ODR has...

The 2 most recent pieces of news (one resolved) are part and parcel of mining and in HOC's case very rare.

We were just unlucky to have them back to back.

The production report prior to that was excellent.

Always risk but I have faith in the Company and excellent experienced management to look after my investment.

LOL ODR! Realistic is more like it. Just stating what I believe to be facts, whether mistaken or not. Since HOC is by far my largest holding I would just love to be as bullish as those bulls on this thread. When we breach 300p I may just start being as bullish as them but I want some positive news to get us there please.

Probably just waiting for an update from HOC. Two of the last three RNS announcements haven't exactly been positive. One ended a concern and then another almost immediately appeared. Vanguard may still be selling into renewed strength?

ODR - I did tell you a couple of weeks ago that I thought the Chinese are in on the game of pm price suppression because imho they are buying as much as they can at these ridiculously low prices. Nothing has happened since then to change my mind on that.

USD Index just 20 cents away from the right shoulder of the perfect H&S.

Will be hugely disappointing if that chart play doesn't come to fruition and might signal another surge to new highs

HOC FY Results were 9th March last year so it's likely we're only a few weeks away from FY 2016 results.
A date is likely to be posted next week.
