28/12/2016 01:36 | Thank you SG. At least you give a specific target and some reasoning rather than just stating "the obvious". I hope you will keep us posted on the Stoch situation ;-) | lauders
28/12/2016 01:33 | What is your current target for HOC, SG? | simonthe1st
28/12/2016 01:28 | The bottom is when the Stoch goes below 20( the shaded area) and then turns upwards Just pointless buying until that point . | saturdaygirl

28/12/2016 00:56 | Good luck with the "bottom" John! Please be so kind as to tell me when we have reached that point. You must be incredibly wealthy if you can time such events! | lauders
27/12/2016 21:30 | What's the mean? Where's your zero point? Time doesn't revert to the mean, outside of quantum physics. | february 30th
27/12/2016 21:19 | I got out of HOC some time ago but I keep an eye on it. The descent (320 to 190, 40%), is linked to the price of gold, and I think, barring WW3, that could go down to $1,000 or less. It is reversion to the mean. I am waiting for the bottom before buying back in. | johntrustee
27/12/2016 21:05 | The fundamentals for HOC are significantly more attractive than they were 12 mo the ago. Almost all of the news from within this year has been positive and I dont see that changing. So, macro-economics aside, I see no reason not to buy HOC at the lows, and hold long term. | npp62
27/12/2016 20:02 | This BB has generally lost it, such a pity. | rhuvaal2
27/12/2016 19:18 | Down. There is no bottom in yet. Maximum pessimism has yet to come. Happy New Year everyone. | dt1010
27/12/2016 15:09 | Miners go where metals go and metals go where the gangsters tell them to go . Guess which direction ? the gangsters want metals for now | juju44
27/12/2016 12:14 | I'm buying anytime this goes below 150p!... | npp62
26/12/2016 14:11 | I see the merits of bitcoin - and missed buying them at around $3 each a few years ago, which serves me right. But it cannot replace gold as the safe haven or insurance as it is virtual, and nothing virtual is virtuous - mainly as it is reliant on " others" not myself, and reliant on the continuity of an internet. But certainly its blockchain technology, is very significant for the future of transactions. New Year View? Looking back 12 months- HOC six bagged in a year, 600% , making HOC about the most successful share I know for 2016, though of course only until 310p! Looking back " the darkest day was just before the dawn" around 48p in December 15. I bought 3 times and sold at my average, around 192-3p. This, is going to happen again, but not down to 48p . Also the company's projects are more advanced. HOC breaks even far below, the current silver price. The rate of decline, of the share price on the chart, is indicative of what Mining investors and traders believe is the future of the 2017 gold and silver price. In other words, they do not! do not - see a serious decline from here for gold and silver and then even more downside for them. I feel very sure that early part of 2017 will see a bounce back of sorts for the metals though not perhaps in the coming weeks. I'm taking this quiet time to recognoitre Canadians Endeavour, Western Copper and Gold, and Defiant Silver. H | hectorp
24/12/2016 19:45 | Yeah, you can have your bitcoin easily hacked into and nicked though. Merry Christmas. | dt1010
24/12/2016 09:41 | Bit coin is redeemable only in dollars etc, yes you can pay people with Bitcoin but they only take it because they know it's wort a certain amount of dollars, it's really quite a ridiculous idea and doesn't really solve anything. I'd rather have some metal than Bitcoin. | shakeypremis
23/12/2016 15:48 | Here's to an even more profitable year next year. Let's see what happens. | shakeypremis
23/12/2016 15:48 | Merry christmas all. I would be buying more miners here but my main worry is that bitcoin seems to be the new safe haven, it is up over 15% in three day and the chart looks really strong since Trump victory. 5 years ago the money that is flowing into bitcoin would surely have been flowing into gold. Ive been waiting on a dip to buy but it just keeps going up huge percentages every day. | breaktwister
23/12/2016 15:35 | This has been a very profitable year and I wish everyone well for Christmas and the New Year! | pixi

23/12/2016 11:13 | GS888 - It is the end of 2016 LOL! Hope you are right ;-) This is my largest investment by a long way and I would like you to be right! Happy Xmas and I will wish you all New Year wishes next week. | lauders |
