My first reaction was surprise that Henderson found it necessary to raise the trivial sum of £45,000 by selling less than 1.4% of their HIW holding. It would seem to me more likely that this was a private arrangement with a close business associate that wanted a stake in HIW.

The second thing was that the RNS contains a glaring error. The threshold crossed was 25%, not 24%. Before the transaction they held 25.33% and after it they hold 24.98%. If they had sold just a little less, there would have been no need to issue the RNS.

Clear as mud then.....!

I, like toko, read it as crossing the 24% threshold up to 24.98%????

Had another look at it, hardly designed for rapid assimilation. They had 108,120,494 they now have 106,620,414 ie they've sold 1,500,000. One presumes there is effectively no difference between 'direct' and 'indirect' holdings. So were they sold in a lump, or drip fed into the market? It's certainly a very sizeable holding.

I think they increased - they crossed the 24% threshold triggering the RNS and are now at 24.98%

I found that rns unfathomable. I can see the holding of 24.98%, but what was the size of the holding before?

No, reduced it.

Quite odd seeing the bid come closer and closer to the offer. Is summat up at last?

Oh I expect the local yobbery will have great fun turning bus and train windows into loudspeakers :¬)

Seriously such a low cost device will make it very simple to make a point of sale display more informative. Though how the public might react to speakers everywhere, remains to be seen.

re the "driver-converts-window etc" nobody wants such a device.

I think this new Board knows where it's going, and very importantly they know how to get there, this will be because the CEO has done it before. We have moved on from employee type salary men, to actual real can-do entrepreneurs.

They might not have much to say, but they seem to need more people all of a sudden

Relatively new management is running this now with a new business model. Not the same company as before, which would almost certainly have gone bust some time ago.

Not sure the Directors would agree with you on that one somfawa they still seem to be throwing their hard earned at it. In my experience of these things when Directors buy as frequently as they have been doing so recently there is usually a good reason for it that us PI's are not privy to. I am happy to wait and see how this plays out

I love the enthusiasm they have over on Motley Fool for this one. This is an all time stinker and will NEVER come good imho.

Just remembered I hold some of these, haven't bothered looking at the postings as the share price seems to say it all.
When do they go ex div? :-)

And to think that I sold 14,400 of these at £24. Why did I keep the other 1,600 of the 16,000 I bought at about £8 originally?
