06/1/2011 16:27 | R1. amended, it was the COO. "Cambridge, UK, January 4, 2011: HiWave Technologies PLC, the provider of electronic solutions for audio and haptic touch, announces the appointment of Mike Davison as Chief Operations Officer, effective January 1st." | dafrog
06/1/2011 13:24 | Hello all, Held these years and years ago (good and bad) and still have a few of their speakers which I love. I see 3M were exhibiting at CES. Is this anything to do with their touch tech (apologies if I'm way behind the times!) | mradford
06/1/2011 07:54 | Wouldn't the appointment of the new COO warrant an RNS on the 4th? Nothing on CES? | dafrog

22/12/2010 08:21 | I think the NXT brand will always be identified with the flat speaker market. The company has now moved on into much more broad reaching technologies with hopefully a much higher net worth per application. Early NXT products like Wharfedale speakers turn up now in car boot sales - I think the company have realised that they have to distance themselves from the tacky end of the market, where 'stack 'em high, sell them cheap'puts across the wrong image of a technology company. Now that all the original management are more or less gone we can hopefully lay our wares out in the Bond St. store rather than the bazzar! | irenekent
22/12/2010 08:17 | Technologie??? French? | ladyfarmer

21/12/2010 09:13 | The name change is interesting as the "old" management were keen to build NXT into a brand. Hi Wave is more catchy - I wonder if all the old licencees have to put HIW on their brands rather than NXT? Anyway, hopefully the team can finally turn this company around and start making some money, to the relief of the long term share holders. | caldeira-hankey
