Rocking all over the World - Status Quo, on Radio 2 as I write, nice number, has anyone else heard the original? Must admit I like the Quo version altho I know it's always fashionable to knock 'em.

I can't stand the National Anthem. Land of hope and glory is much better. I went to School in Wales and much prefer the Welsh National Anthem.

"Free" is the best Primal Scream track. And that is not IMO, that is a fact.

chelle - Your off topic post re comedy awards

Leslie Thomas - class act - "HELLOOO" the man still has it!

I take it the two exceptions were errrm Jordan. I think those two exceptions are well impressive. (But dont mention it to the wife!)

The rest was well, tosh i have to agree, i was glad to see "My best Friend" got an award but as for Ant and Dec, well words fail me. Fine for early sat morning for the little ones but after 9.00pm sat night sorry, pair of wasters imo unless you have the IQ of one of Jordans Implants!, or worst still the IQ of Jordan herself!

BM, I like 'falling to pieces' and 'we care alot'
but if we are talking about an collection in one era
how about:-

Stone Roses-Fools Gold
James-Sit Down
The Farm- All together Now

throw in a rendition of Strwberry Fields, a bit of Carter USM, Inspiral Carpets and bit of Emf too
and you got some great idividual tracks imo

Hoya,

That's one of my least favourite songs! It was on the radio so much it drove me crazy:) I also can't stand most of Robbie Williams songs.

Does anyone like the new Blondie album. I can't stop listening to it.

Chelle - didn't see it but sure you're right.....

Modern definition of a "comedian" is usually someone who ain't at all funny but is foul-mouthed and very left-wing/politically correct. IMO Mark Steel is a perfect example of this.

Recommended for an early morning jig:

Artist: The Dandy Warhols
Album: The Dandy Warhols
Track #: 15
Name: It's a Fast Driving Rave-Up with The Dandy Warhols 16 minute finale.

Great stuff. Turn it up.

off subject - did anyone see the "comedy" awards last night. What a pathetic bunch of egotists (presenters included) Little or no talent - a disgrace to British comedy, with one or two exceptions. (Ooops forgot about the talent of Jordan, actually if this is what celebrity world has come to gawd help us..).
