31/1/2018 17:04 | Drop to ~149.7 close- my guess was the hit to gold possibly caused by ADP results 240k well above 185k estimate. Fed later today and non-farms end of week. RRS, Fres, and to a limited extent CEY(prob partially mitigated by their YE financials). Appreciate comments. | stevedaytrader
31/1/2018 14:17 | Woody,Wishful thinking.Maybe 175.50p,so you can take a profit, more likely my friend.I have been told that HGM qualifies for IHT exemption. So I will not be selling has it will save my son IHT taxes in the future. So a great hold for me with 36,000 Shares. But I think I will join you and buy more, maybe trade a few as well.eg PFC | garycook
31/1/2018 14:05 | Maybe it'll hit that 195.50p again on it's first anniversary in 3 weeks time, Gary? | woodhawk
31/1/2018 14:03 | GC Quite right, I best keep quiet. | srpactive
31/1/2018 13:47 | srp,Everytime we have mentioned the 190p figure,it has not happened since HGM peaked at 195.50p on the 23/02/2017,and at 191.75p on 11/04/2017.I believe if we stop mentioning the 190p figure,it may happen. The recent high of 181p reached on the 15/01,was the nearest we have come since. Many are trading HGM now between 150/170p.So I can only see HGM reaching new highs with Gold at $1,400 ! | garycook
31/1/2018 13:14 | W No problem, credit where credit is due, yes a target of 190p for starters would be a little more sensible, dyor. | srpactive
31/1/2018 13:10 | Thanks for the compliment, Active. I've been making plenty here just trading the peaks'n'troughs. Your 220p would be most acceptable, but my more immediate target is - perhaps - a shade more modest. Nevertheless, onwards and upwards! | woodhawk
31/1/2018 12:58 | W Here it is, dyor. ==================== Highland Gold Mining Limited Notification of Significant Holding 09/01/2018 3:58pm UK Regulatory (RNS & others) Highland Gold (LSE:HGM) Historical Stock Chart 1 Month : From Dec 2017 to Jan 2018 Click Here for more Highland Gold Charts. 31/1/2018 12:49 | W Excellent, as I have said before we have had a few words from time to time, but I have complimented you on your super trading capabilities. Now lets get to 220p plus, enough of the silly mark down, as also said this is being kept at £500m for some reason dyor. Mr. A has bought, over 8% from primerod recently. | srpactive
31/1/2018 12:41 | Mr A. might not have bought - but I have, Active! Back in today - ready for the next run up. | woodhawk
31/1/2018 12:37 | Yes, I think it would be good now if Mr A, would buy this for 220p upwards, dyor. | srpactive
31/1/2018 11:34 | SR- up so far today so let's hope the bottom price has now gone. As I have said before, in general gold daily price movements mimic gold price daily. Quarterly figures/financials/r | stevedaytrader
31/1/2018 08:16 | It always takes about 20mins after stock market opening to settle let’s see SR | stevedaytrader
31/1/2018 08:06 | January 1st 2018 HGM 171.25p Gold $1300 January 31st 2018 HGM 150p Gold $1343. In addition 20th February 2017 HGM 190p Gold $1250 We should be nearer the broker price target of 250p, this completely wrong. It is just like a landlord who has rent rocketing with the same fixed cost, and renting more rooms saying he is making less, so the lower the rent the more he should make, pure madness. And before anyone comes back with smart answer I know how it works. The mm's have driven this down due to Russia buying colossal amounts of gold and we mine it. | srpactive
31/1/2018 08:04 | Eighth down day. | srpactive
31/1/2018 07:54 | Post trump speech gold ok up a bit, dollar weaker against gdp euro etc all help gold- fed and non farms this week - volatile as expected keeping fingers crossed we at last start to go up | stevedaytrader
30/1/2018 18:46 | Don’t see how Monty- this stock has always had the odd strange movements and I’ve always found it impossible to find any reason alas. | stevedaytrader
30/1/2018 18:09 | Why the shareprice drop, is it Russian possible sanctions by US. | montyhedge
30/1/2018 16:17 | No problem, I will remove it as I mentioned. | srpactive
30/1/2018 16:03 | Sorry to be cynical SR but this is the one and only broker who puts in a price and for as long as I can remember always states circs 230 | stevedaytrader
30/1/2018 15:45 | ==================== I will delete soon as I do not know if it is permitted to post. | srpactive
30/1/2018 15:43 | Which broker srp? Do you have a link? | bonnard
30/1/2018 14:45 | Month end, I feel we will see a decent move higher over the next couple of months for miners. Correction: Broker price target here 250p, which is actually higher than my 220p target I have had for a while, we shall see dyor. | srpactive
30/1/2018 14:34 | Yeah we had an Idea. Seems like most goldies have sold off today, I'm sure someone just decides at the beginning of the day to press a button to sell all across a sector. Oilers much the same. | celeritas |
