Brutal day and I’m no closer to finding out why. If I do I’ll post here. Weird behaviour at around 15:00 when we seemed to have raised to circa 159 it just dropped almost immediately to 156. Not nice for us to be probably the worse hit stock today- but hey, that’s trading, have a good weekend all, chin up.

I have at a little higher, gold at a very high
level and production is at the high end of
guidance, although currency I believe is not helping
but usually irons itself out I am told, dyor a must.

Unfortunately as life I suppose, I am sure it will rebound
one day.

Seems a bit unfair that CEY is up 0.2% and HGM down 7%. Bit harsh

Fair point, each to their own. I think as I always
say annoyingly to most that doing research is the
important point.

SR- again, charts reveal nothing, if look back over recent time periods, no pattern to be predicted here. If I picked "a pattern" this morning it would have been wrong, and so on.

SR- yes, gold rose marginally during the speech and Q&A- my take was nothing new, he said what was expected, America first, but with co-operation, and wanted others to invest in USA, taxes and regs being reduced, as it is going extremely well- GDP Q4 figures 2.6% v est. of 3.0%, bit not seen by commentators as an issue- gold marginally up after all this 13:15 to 13:56, at least gold didn't drop- still no idea on HGM drop when others drop small as expected.

Just heard the end of Mr Trump's speech and he was
talking of everyone working together to prosper
and help all workers, lets hope this is a start of
something better for all, dyor.

Am with you SR- I struggle to see why- I guess we may find out why or may not, hope it stops dropping soon, it's like the other day when all gold stocks dropped a bit and yet HGM got hammered- very odd, couldn't find a reason then either.

Thanks SR- I've traded so far successfully for years- I've never used charts, got stung in the early days- the chart is great after the event to explain what happened.

Yes been following them for a while myself, we
have been linked with them in the recent past,
I do reckon the new man will have hgm on his
radar after the sale of some assets, dyor.

It seems quite strange this reaction especially as
we formed a golden cross only the other week,
rbs formed a golden cross earlier last year at 230p
now over 303p, just an observation, dyor.

It just seems if gold is lower it is reason
for hgm to be moved down, if gold is up we
find another reason now currency to move
hgm down, dyor.
