13/4/2014 13:23 | Are stupid or do you just think we are?? I think you are pretty stupid if you had money to invest, and you believe strongly that Heritage is cheap at today's price. If you did, then surely you'd be delighted to get the chance to be able to buy at 150p? Of course, if you are overleveraged with your CFDs or spreadbets, you'd panic a bit if the share price dropped that much. If you were in that position, you would be even more stupid. 13/4/2014 10:18 | I'd like to know how much we have invested in PFC and what our average there is, it could turn out to be a good investment, as things appear to be going.... | chopsy
13/4/2014 09:42 | Tongosti, you say you're invested here but want it to fall by about 40%? Are stupid or do you just think we are?? | proj
13/4/2014 04:21 | I know that but just saying that I wish I had topped up more heavily back in Dec when the share price was around the 150 mark. Still, very happy with the way things are going at the moment with HOIL | tongosti
12/4/2014 21:47 | Yes tong, not a chance. Up from here, finals in two weeks. | rjcdc
11/4/2014 15:14 | hope it goes down to 150 so that i could top up at my average - great company to be in. | tongosti
11/4/2014 09:06 | 30p more lower and i get to top up at £2 so either way we win .. ignore short term volality ..take advantage of dips fx | fxdealer3
10/4/2014 22:29 | Any views on Kola Karim please gents? He's recently involved in a company I have followed for years, and he appears to have plenty of connections, cash, and drive to get things done. | josephrobert
09/4/2014 19:59 | CumnorI agree TB will ensure the stock will perform and the fact the co regularly states they will to start a div policy.I think when the largest shareholder is the CEO they like paying div's | pinkalltheway
09/4/2014 19:39 | Investors tiring of small to midcap oilers/miners (incl Tlw) which year after year return nothing worthwhile to them. All very well having plenty of oil/copper etc in the ground but the aim should be to reward the company owners. Many of these outfits have been around for years-pay mgmt huge salaries/bonuses, politicians backhanders, taxes to the natives but shs are on the never-never. Big oil finds mean nothing (oil prices could easily tumble leaving these worthless). Look at PMO, afr, cne, tlw, hoil, kaz, ved etc and the story is the same. Spend, spend, grab, grab but f..k the shareholders. Having said that i'm only in Hoil, from 120s and added today, because TB's history suggests he will monetise the assets and even pay a divi, understanding the importance of keeping the other owners onside. The City, despite its' mistrust appreciates this and partially explains the share price doubling in the past year. As for Afr.....imo | cumnor
09/4/2014 15:40 | hxxp://www.thisdayli Two Nigerian companies, Taleveras and Aiteo, have submitted the highest bid of $2.85 billion for the largest of Shell Nigeria's four oil blocks slated for sale, Oil Mining Lease (OML) 29, which it is selling with its 97-kilometre Nembe Creek oil pipeline. | buffythebuffoon
09/4/2014 11:29 | volume on sell side today in good market...suspicious ...i might just hit £2 again ....technically i would love to top up again at that level .,..if i miss boat then i hold enough already.. looks like they are $400m lower than highest bid on other field at $2.4b and i would not want them overstretch another high value development asset at this time fx | fxdealer3
09/4/2014 10:11 | Yeah, good point SE... In fact, done right, it could be genius. Let someone else pay through the nose to get oml 29, helps revalue oml 30 on paper. HOil pick up something else on the cheap because all eyes are on oml29, they turn it around ala oml 30 and add value... Rinse and repeat. Maybe I'm giving too much credit to the mgt here...;-) | rjcdc
09/4/2014 09:46 | RJCDC - I think HOIL could do with getting a smaller license with potential upside rather than a major one like OML29 which would require large debt/rights issue. | scrambled eggmann
09/4/2014 09:20 | I think it's good news if heritage aren't awarded any further license at the mo,,, cash is more important right now, as is clearing some debt. I would also hope that any divi payments be small if at all.. The volume is low and yet this gets pushed down to fill big purchases such as the 160k just gone through... Still think this is going to reach new highs in the next week or so.. | rjcdc

09/4/2014 08:34 | Think it is a typo Fangorn as it is really just a re-hash of report first published week before last, although specifically naming OML 29. | muscletrade

09/4/2014 07:56 | $2.4 million? Weren't we expecting a figure in the billions for OML29? | fangorn2
09/4/2014 06:35 | Taleveras/IS45, Seplat, Transcorp in last ditch battle for OML 29 April 9, 2014 | Filed under: main story | Author: Frank Uzuegbunam The battle for the much-sought-after OML 29 oil bloc promises to go through the wire as three firms Taleveras/IS45, Seplat and Transcorp slug it out on the finish line. Seplat and Transcorp offered $2.4 million each, while Taleveras and IS45 put in the highest bid of $2.85 million. BusinessDay gathered that Royal Dutch Shell will take final decision later this month on who will emerge the preferred bidder for the group's 45 percent stake in the OML 29. It was further gathered that Glencore and its Nigerian partner, Nestoil, have since dropped out of the race after evaluating their chances. Shell is keeping a close eye on the Taleveras and IS45 bid. OML 29 holds the site of Nigeria's first discovery, Oloibiri field, in addition to Nembe Creek field, Santa Barbara and Odeama Creek fields, all of which are producing. The field started oil production between late 1957 and early 1958 and the first oil production from the field came at the rate of 4,928 barrels per day. The production increased thereafter as more wells were completed and put onto production. The sales are part of a wider plan by Shell to dispose of $15 billion of assets this year and 2015, in order to slim down operations after a profit warning. Shell is divesting its 30 percent stake in four Nigerian oil blocs, with France's Total and Italy's Eni also set to profit from their 10 percent and 5 percent shares. The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) owns the remaining 55 percent. Frank Uzuegbunam | muscletrade
