12/2/2004 21:11 | ........and £4 doesn't look too far away now on the 5 year chart...... | meic
12/2/2004 17:03 | Strength on the close suggests maybe even a gap-up first thing tomorrow..happy days. | spec12
12/2/2004 14:51 | Fair enough rivaldo but my point is that with the benefit of hindsight I could have made 30% and baled out before the results if I'd wanted. I did not believe it would move so much in such a short time so I got it wrong and your judgement was reasonably accurate - any nervy holders could still get out now ;0) | doubleorquits
12/2/2004 14:40 | Fair enough Earl but for an ISA qualifying stock this ain't doing badly ! | spec12
12/2/2004 14:37 | Don't offer the congrats yet DOQ - let's wait till the results for that. As you say, there have been hiccups in the past. But the RNS's, the trading pre-results and the smoke signals speak volumes. With reasonable results we should see decent gains from here. | rivaldo
12/2/2004 14:32 | ShareDoc, I didn't believe it was a no-brainer because I remain unsure of the management. However, I hand it to you guys as you have made 30% since I was looking (and not buying :0( ). Good luck and well done. | doubleorquits
12/2/2004 14:09 | Spec12 - A re-rating tends to be sparked by a change in fortunes (usually noted by results/RNS's etc). So far what we have been seeing is the expectation of a re-rating resulting in the rapid price rise (semantics perhaps but there is s subtlety here). This recent price rise has probably been exasperated by the fact MMs may have been seeling stock they don't own, hence the buying limits. I would still expect 'more' significant price changes in shorter time periods if the results really are that good. Whatever one chooses to call this its all great fun though at the mo!!! ;-) | moreearl
12/2/2004 13:28 | We all knew that this was a no brainer, it looks like there's plenty more to come, may even test 285p ish before the results. | sharedoc
12/2/2004 13:13 | more tomorrow - last day before results CR | cockneyrebel
12/2/2004 13:13 | You still say re-rating is not happening MoreEarl ? | spec12
12/2/2004 13:02 | Expect the MM's need sellers - we'll see if they come..... | crawford
12/2/2004 13:00 | wow...now I wish i had bought more !!!Hindsight eh ! | nurdin
12/2/2004 12:58 | And we have liftoff. Next stop £3. MM's completely out of stock. | crawford
12/2/2004 12:48 | More sells than buys shown....suggests big buys to appear later | nurdin
12/2/2004 12:46 | Still going up, and further buying going on at the full ask....and still on a forward P/E of less than 6.5, plus over a 3% divi yield. Plenty to go for yet.... | rivaldo
12/2/2004 11:02 | There was a small mention in today's Daily Mail market report, to the effect that the shares rose on expectations of "bumper" results next week. Also nice. | rivaldo
12/2/2004 10:52 | Max buy 2500, max sell 10000. Nice. | crawford
12/2/2004 10:25 | v encouraging crawford | spec12
12/2/2004 08:51 | Interesting, maximum buy allowed online for HPS is 500 shares, max. sell is 5000 so I guess the MM's are short of stock. I wouldn't be surprised to see them attempt some tree shaking ahead of results to try and get some stock. | crawford
11/2/2004 17:01 | Looks fine to me Earl....on not a very busy day for shs. Not sure what you expect as this is not a penny share situation and a repeat performance from the last 2 weeks over the next 2 weeks will look excellent on the charts to me. | spec12
11/2/2004 17:00 | This does look like the start of the re-rating we have all been expecting. I am hoping come the results the price will kick higher, and a fair value for this company is achieved... | moreearl
11/2/2004 10:45 | 123,000 shares traded already, and an MM buy at 250p - it's getting hot in here! Crawford, if results are as expected then £3 is surely the base price from hereonin. | rivaldo
11/2/2004 10:42 | resistence well and truly broken.....lets hope it continues to rise AFTER the results.... | crawford
11/2/2004 10:40 | Its more than a tick up now !! :o) | nurdin
11/2/2004 08:57 | Well, I was right about the tick-up! Onwards and upwards - and still on a forward P/E of only just over 6 plus a probable dividend of over 8p per share. | rivaldo |
