I've bought a few here this morning, Yesterday's broker target of 7.8p swayed it for me. Optimistic for a good result in next few weeks

If you say so ant15! A new shareholder here before I read your message! Look forward to the dividend and hopeful re-rating down the line. Also hope that some directors are permitted to top-up soon after the reason for the fund-raising is released/announced. Hope this is the start of a long and rewarding association with HHR!

They have been unable to buy here for an incredibly long time due to a combination of being in possession of price sensitive info and then close periods. For ages it was the debt for equity deal that stopped them, but immediately after that they moved into further negotiations, all of which were price sensitive and we ended up with the fund raising. Even now I think they are still barred because they are working on the deal to spend the £60m and that is also price sensitive.

I once worked in a place where we weren't allowed to deal for over 2 years because of this type of thing. It became quite a big deal at one point as 1 director needed to sell some shares to pay a tax bill, but wasn't allowed to.

I was even a bit surprised by the RNS on 29th January re Director Dealing, because even though it is just a transfer, it is technically still dealing and I am surprised that the director was given permission to do this. It probably doesn't matter though as there is no net sale or purchase, but I can remember a similar request being refused before.

It is even worse, because they can't issue any new options to staff either as even that would be considered as the company dealing in its own shares. So even new senior hires won't get into any share option schemes until they eventually get out of this period.

In a good company that is progressing well it can tell you quite a lot when not a single director deals, as it can often mean that there is something going on behind the scenes. I once sold my holding in a company that I had built up because I thought they were in takeover talks just because the CFO bought shares. As soon as he did that I knew they weren't in talks any more.

Thanks of the prompt reply sh1202. However there doesn't appear to have been any significant buying by directors for many many months. They had plenty of opportunity at lower prices so just makes me a little cautious in deciding whether to invest some remaining funds here or wait for some other company to appear better. Like the dividend here though!

There hasn't been much director buying here unless I missed the RNS announcements. You would think with all this potential, dividends, the lack of debt they would be investing more themselves. Am I missing something from those who follow the company more closely? Thanks

Welcome Battlebus,

Im quite new here too, but had HHR on my watchlist for some time previously. Bought in around 6p-6.17p

This story is all about what they are going to do with that 60m quid. A good earnings enhancing acquisition will see many multiples of the current share price reached imo. And who knows there might be two such potential acquisitions.....
