opodio and bc4 I had a look at Lyons Davidson. They are no longer a partnership and sold into a company in 2011, so you can get their accounts from Companies House online for a quid.
Was sold at £35 million and made just over £2 million post-tax profits in first eleven month trading period. Will have to file accounts again at end of this month. Turnover was over £70 million. These figures are from memory as I looked last week. Lyons Davidson also owns a couple of physio-rehabilitation companies, and a lot of its business seems to be claims handling.
So £60m placing might fit with a takeover of a firm of this size?
A merger of Helphire and a law firm should help both parties margins post-LASPO?
Anybody else want to have a look at the accounts to see what they think?
Maybe the conversion to a company in 2011 was with an eye to being bought?

bc4 Some people bought in at three quarters of a penny on 7 September 2012, then bailed out and came back time and time again. We are not sorry. We are still here alongside you waiting for the next opportunity. We just speculate to accumulate.

All you can do is actually look at what the board has achieved over the last 12 months and then ask yourself are these the sort of people who are going to screw things up?
I don't think so, and with the recent placing funds available this business is very much turning back on the up.
This will lead to more business/turnover but this time with a much improved cost base and financial controls.
Also the zero debt position will enable the improved results go straight onto the bottom line and then hopefully be reflected via divi's and a improved share price.

Will probably leave 6p well behind on news so just a matter of being very patient.I have received a dividend yield of around 15% over the last year so this really is an investment for the shareholders and not just the directors.Good long term institutional support and most pi's investing for longer than 1 hour resulting in a more stable share price with a steady upward trend.dyor LT
