I hope it's a tree shake. I am always worried when something like this happens though. I've made quite a bit from HTY. Bought in on the first day. If it drops anymore I'll probably just sell up and get out.

I fancy a tree shake. Just cannot see the results being so bad to warrant big sell off. Global, diversified business with strong set of numbers at last interims in a recovering economic cycle. Sound conservative management.

Be surprised if it was a tip off but feel that if it drops 3-4 % tomorrow I will be very tempted get a few more.

Anyone else got an opinion.

results out Thursday. either
a) its a treeshake ahead of that in which case the results should be good or
b) results are bad on Thursday in which case somebody in the company has tipped off their mates in the city beforehand. if thats whats happened, i'm dropping this company like a sh*tty stick. i won't hold shares in any company where the ordinary shareholders are the last to know whats happening. plenty other homes out there for my money.

either way, we'll know thursday.

Great ews about ftse250 - surprised more not made of it. Anyway, anyone figure out what's going on with the final ute price - that's twice it has ended a long way up frm the trading range. Hopefully this early promotion has caught some trackers out and they will have a need to now buy in.

going into fste 250 in december for sure now shame i sold out at 240p but brought hayt instead so cant complain

Well done guys, I made an error of judgement and sold out when that secondary placing took place!
These will have funds piling in now as its going into the ftse250 next shake up for sure at this rate.

Would be interesting to know what the institutional investors and analysts were told on friday - presumably see the effects on monday. nice to see the company are paying a bit more attention to the stock market - pity they cant let the small investors in on whats happening!

Well of course the price can go up and down, but given this value offered resistance on upside previously then it will hopefully offer resistance downside. Plus if institutions were willing to buy this price for so many shares they must consider them good value. They pushed below the placing price but came back. So my take is more likely to go north than south in the coming weeks - but in the end its all about trying to have the odds on your side and they don't always work out

Don't see why the price paid should put a floor under the price. e.g if there are a lot of spread bet stop losses hit if the share price goes a bit lower which would then send the share price lower. Looks good value after the fall today though. If it goes any lower tempted to top up.

Looks like a major share holder has found a buyer for their shares at a discount to last close - so we seem to have followed this down to that price. Bit of a short term pain but I suspect medium term this will recover so am going to hang onto mine. Hopefully the price paid will put a floor under the price

Sorry for the stupid question but I am presuming that the sale announced this morning is for shares already issued I.e. there haven't been more shares placed diluting the mcap?

I am presuming that the shares have just been transferred in to the market and can be bought or sold rather then held by the venture company - is that right?
