Mining Minister Hon. Anthony Mavunde has outlined a government plan to help solve the challenges facing small-scale miners in the country.

Minister Mavunde made the remarks today on May 9, 2024 in response to a question. Dr. Christine Ishengoma MP for Special Chairs who wanted to know the Government's plan to help the small miners in Ulanga District.

He added that the government's plan to help small-scale miners in the country, including the Ulanga District miners, involves a range of issues including

investing in extensive research to discover the presence of minerals in various areas to better guide the miners.

"Mr. Other areas are the granting of mining licenses to small miners; provide education on the use of the right extraction technology to increase productivity; low-cost mining service through the National Mining Corporation (STAMICO)," said Minister Mavunde.

He also said that another plan is to facilitate access to affordable loans for miners; and the opportunity for mechanical and equipment leases under the supervision of STAMICO.

You would think with Lorna giving a presention at the conference next Thursday that this is the best place to attract a JV or partnerSize of the field would get the share price motoring as should have a good idea after running DSTMaybe an updated CPR on the cards
