09/8/2024 17:13 | First move for months. And the spread has narrowed (400-420p)Is the chart telling us something ? | coolen
18/11/2022 13:55 | Perhaps just a precautionary move by the jobbers. I see both Peel Hunt and Winterflood are today each making a 200p(!) price spread: both quoting 350-550p. The Balance Sheet looks okay, capable of surviving a year or so with little eps. During which time, the plus may be that competition could be reduced. Was there a Scandinavian buyer who took a stake here once ? | coolen
18/11/2022 13:10 | coolen Another strange price movement today : marked down 70p or 14% with no shares traded. The directors nearest always include a caveat in every report and there are several caveats today. Results continue to be satisfactory all the same. I am not sure whether the elimination of our pension fund deficit is permanent but this certainly improves the look of balance sheet. I will continue to hold my shares with confidence but do not expect any excitements. | varies

11/9/2017 16:48 | I looked at this a while back & passed on it as Directors are enormously well paid v dividends , loved the products and have been kicking myself ever since, my guess is they're trading their socks off , how else to explain the price action? Edit, it looks to be related to this RNS Announcement: Fri 1st September, 2017 9:22am RNS Number : 5679P Heath(Samuel) & Sons PLC 01 September 2017 Samuel Heath & Sons plc ("Samuel Heath" or the "Company") Appointment of Director The Board of Samuel Heath announces that Ross Andrews has been appointed as a non-executive director of the Company with immediate effect. 16/2/2002 00:20 | bubblefish, it's gone up over 30% a year compounded in 3 years before even considering dividends. How many investors/traders make those sort of returns, do you think? | stewjames
16/2/2002 00:14 | Hope you don't take offence but the increase in share price / time ratio is really poor. Granted it's a steady grind up but there are better opetunities don't you think ? What kind of time scale were you invisaging ? My guess is you're looking at 3 months or so. Thoughts ? AC | bubblefish777
