18/2/2019 09:23 | I see that Haydale's PCT patent application on the transparent conductive inks for anti-counterfeiting has now published It seems to be very much concerned with the application, rather than formulation of the ink. | timbo003
13/2/2019 16:18 | Any thoughts on the future for Haydale? Promised so much delivered so little and directors not buying.... | 1looking
21/1/2019 09:43 | Their charts look really good, they went up to 1400 from 100 and I was really hoping for hayd to be in this position when I first invested in this company many years ago but so far they are opposite ..... maybe one day, survived all those years so far keeping it a bit longer won't make a difference. | sharki9
21/1/2019 08:37 | Quite likely - good detective work:AB Dynamics plc ("the Company") is the holding company of Anthony Best Dynamics Limited (together "the Group") and was admitted to trading on AIM on May 22nd 2013. The Company is incorporated in England (registered number 8393914) which is also its country of operation. The Company's registered office is Middleton Drive, Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire BA15 1GB | diplomat65

21/1/2019 07:42 | Pure bit of speculation on my part, but I wonder if the TR1 announced this morning has anything to do with this enterprise? | timbo003
30/12/2018 12:58 | checkout private co Paragraf (Cambridge Uni spin-off, run by two Welshmen Thomas and Humphries). Only way is in to kick a spare £25000 into Parkwalk Opps EIS. (No chance) | petewy

28/12/2018 12:16 | I find it worrying to see two directors selling lots of shares at such a lowly price. I had high hopes for Haydale but this doesn't exactly inspire confidence. I don't understand the point above about the counter party to the share disposals being the subscriber to the subscription shares announced on the 21st Dec. The subscription is new equity so why does anyone have to sell? | enter
28/12/2018 09:57 | The way the Dec 21st RNS is worded, it seems to be just one subscriber and this Proactiveinvestor reporter seems to think so too (although I have no idea whether he has had an additional briefing) On the other hand it could just be a badly worded RNS Agreed regarding the commodity nature of graphene. You will certainly not get many (if any) multi-national behemoths using graphene for routine production on any product line, unless they have a dual source of supply (preferably multi source). All those dreaming about being monopoly suppliers to multiple large corporations, are living in la-la land. Functionalization will add some value and functionalization followed by subsequent incorporation into pre-pregs (or inks) will add further value, but I suspect the greatest value will be obtained for those companies who hold the keys to commercializing unique and innovative applications (for example anti-counterfeiting) | timbo003
28/12/2018 09:15 | Re subscription shares probably a combo of shorts and fluppers. I don't think market makers need to declare short positions. There may be some long term holder support. HAYD looks in a lot of trouble but the market cap is so low I guess it's fine as a punt. I'm bearish on the Graphene sector (no surprises) but that's not to say the material hasn't got huge potential. I think most investors miss that point. Prices have been falling quite dramatically as companies scale up. Also the line that extremely valuable IP resides in the functionalization process is being shown to be rubbish imho. | loglorry1
28/12/2018 08:34 | Yes good point loglorry, that could account for the mopping up of US share sales but could it account for the subscription shares? Do short positions >3% have to be declared, or is that just in takeover situations? My memory is a bit fuzzy on this | timbo003
28/12/2018 08:22 | @timboo shorts covering I expect. | loglorry1
28/12/2018 07:40 | I wonder if the counter party on the other side of the share disposals from the US employees announced this morning is also the subscriber to the subscription shares announced on 21st Dec? | timbo003
27/12/2018 22:20 | The announcement on Friday seems to have been well received by the market which may have come as a surprise to some, but certainly not to me. However, I am surprised that they have not disclosed who the (single) subscriber was for the 4.6 per cent of the Company's existing ordinary share capital, as this will surely require a TR1 declaration either sometime next week, or the week after, depending on whether the clock starts ticking on Dec 21st or Dec 31st | timbo003
22/12/2018 12:53 | Simple answer, No. | knownowt
22/12/2018 12:33 | Knownowt: Do you not see that Continuing to pump Manchester U, Briggs, etc. over many years with only wasted cash expenses and travel to show for it, is a bloody Red Flag for HAYD/Ray at this point? | mali01

21/12/2018 15:57 | " The Company is to enter into a new secured working capital loan from the DBW of GBP750,000 which is to be repaid monthly on or before April 2020 and carries an interest rate of 11 per cent. p.a. Issue of Equity The Company has raised GBP250,000 through the issue of 1,250,000 new ordinary shares of 0.2p in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 20 pence each via a direct subscription with the Company, which represents a discount of approximately 21.6 per cent. to the closing mid-price per Ordinary Share on 20 December 2018. " Massive discount for the equity porting and scalpers cost for the loan - Message received IN MAJOR TROUBLE- Not one for widows or orphans - | pugugly |
