Not the best of TUs: 'Taking in to account the operating performance in 2019, the Board expects the 2019 total dividend to be lower than 2018.'

No idea - it's not ex-divi date, there are no relevant RNSs and my other insurers are up....let's hope it's random noise.

Another solid company for the income portfolio and a bit of diversification with the inclusion of an insurer this time around.

Dividend yield is about 5.3%.

There was a statement made that the interim dividend would represent one third of the annual total , which suggests 3.3P interim plus 6.6P or 6.7P final , making say 10P for the year.
That's about a 4.4% yield at 230P which makes sense , although on the low side compared with it's peers . So they need superior growth to justify their valuation?

Morning CWA1,Ok message understood.Just making the comment that there are better choices in the market than HSTG.

What is the predicted yield on HSTG.I see 3.3p was paid recently. So is it another 3.3,making 6.6p.That would only equate to around a 2.8% yield.Money would be better in ADM,BEZ,or LRE.6.5%,7%,and 9% yield respectfully.Even DLG Yielding 8.5%,is a better buy atm. Also HSTG looking expensive at 235.50p
