We are all suffering with this protracted selling off

Nothing is making much sense least of all me even at the best of times

I ve explained my reasoning for holding back on both this and ABDN

Still hanging on in there waiting

Not expecting any good news from far east over the next week or so

Covid despite their best efforts continues to rise and unfortunately this will act as an inhibitor for all stock markets

Have moved my entry point down a tad due to this worry am picking up other bits and pieces as and when but still watching my cash reserves

will be back again on monday maybe just maybe ukraine can be resolved by then but is a big wishful ask on my part

Anecdotal I know but yesterday I contacted HL pension services to discuss pension options. It took several minutes to get through but once through had excellent service from a knowledgeable member of staff. Didn't feel rushed, answered all my questions, on the phone for about 50 minutes.....

I am increasingly being tempted purely on the fact that as the market is starting to lose its footing there will be more investors rushing for the exits and conversely those with ISA funds to invest will be venturing out of their shell holes

Have to hold my nerve

Robinhood is a basket case, it lost 43% of it’s revenue in the last quarter, and lost nearly $400m in the period - if it continues at that rate it will cease to exist before too long. There is no comparison between them & HL.

Agree with the above, however the market continues to present an opportunity......Jeffries has an share price target of 820 on this, I will add, progressively and in larger increments, if this drops lower.

Still sitting on my hands though will be sorely tempted the closer it gets to my 800 objective but think might be a bit of resistance as more buyers come in bargain hunting
Bought Barclays this am just for something to do and best value of the big 4 in my humble opinion but will look to sq up before close today

As I said cash is my preference at moment ahead of weekend let's see what sceptics do

The next major support doesn't really look to be until 828p (Oct 2014 low) although there could be a bounce if it gets down to the £9 area.

Thing is with HL share dealing alone still isn't a huge part of their business, so it shows the market doesn't really understand HL if it is being compared with Robin Hood.

Expecting possible dip down on back of news as to "Robin Hood " decline in share dealing expect will have an impact but waiting to get in for time being

Long weekend coming up prefer to be long of cash but have a silly buy order just in case a mad panic ensues
