It appears you can't keep a good share down ... for long!

Any current share price is simply the most recent view of a company's potential. I've held HDD for years with the expectation that once the technology is noticed, somebody somewhere will buy them out. Over and out..

chrisgail - feel free say what you like pal you're WRONG. Hardide will NOT quote: 'consume cash for years to come.'

That is just utter tosh and instantly discredits your argument because you clearly only have a view of the PAST and do not understand the current and future fundamentals.

I will continue to 'bang on' about a Company that has an unstainable business model and costs, seven Directors etc...........

I find it interesting in the 2016 Annual Report the inter-company loan of £9KK that financed the set up of the American facility has been written off. I accept that if volume orders do arrive from Boeing the American facility may start making money, but it will take a fair amount of time to recoup that kind of cash. Hardide will to consume cash for years to come.

Its time for a shake up of the board, they are far too highly paid to be running what is a very small company, take 30-50% pay cuts or move on. Your onging failure does not in anyway justify your pay.

0.5p share price is on the way.]

I suggest you look closer and at the banning of coatings that HDD can replace.

It seems the market realize HDD are on the threshold of sustainable good size profits and these could soar due to US operations... Boeing would be a good customer.

£5m to £10m+ profits in the next few years are what long term holders have been waiting for... I'm holding tight until that cash comes in...

ansc. The whole market seems to be 'heady stuff' it seems that the MM's across the market will quickly mark up 'tech' shares on any demand. How can a £4KK TO company, but losing money, and consistently so for years, be valued at £25KK I know fans will say Areospce work etc...etc.... but that growth can only come from extra capacity that will cost yet more shareholder money.

Not expecting yet another fund raising with next set of results but we will of course be having one later in the year. The good news I suppose with the higher share price is that they will not have to print too many extra shares to raise the cash. They will need the cash to support the seven Directors (Remuneration £644,000) that are needed to run this tiny three dozen employee Company, with a turnover of c£4KK.

As soon as we have clarity regarding cash from aerospace industry the share price will fly.

In a few years I expect big numbers from aerospace and other non-O&G so I expect that to be the future and not O&G even though the O&G revenue will be most welcome.

The results out on Tuesday 16th we know from the trading update will be an improvement on last year.

"As expected, sales to the Oil & Gas sector have more than doubled compared to the same period in 2016 and overall trading is comfortably ahead of both the first half and the second half of the last financial year. As a result, the Board expects that the trading performance for the full financial year to be in line with market expectations."

The breakdown from last year was..
first half £0.95m
Second half £1.19m

Market expectations I take as £3m turnover and £1.3m loss for full year to 30/9/17 taken from digitaLook.

Well aerospace has - so far - taken years and years because of the long life of the product resulting in tests taking forever. How much of the approval achieved recently in the U.K. is relevant to the U.S. opportunities, I haven't a clue.

So anything starting from scratch (inc' non aerospace) could take forever to get beyond testing if it is a critical component. If not, then there is probably enough test evidence to get some immediate sales perhaps.

By the way, the coating is applied under very high temperatures, and the 'kilns' that I saw at Hardide were not huge, so turbine compressor blades yes, oleo legs yes - up to a point, but anything massive like a bearing ring on a wind turbine - I'm not so sure.

But then I'm no expert.

Best wishes - Mike (I have a few, and have had for a very very long time).

I wonder what those 'really exciting opportunities' are in North America? ;)

Is PK referring to the O&G sector or Aerospace or both? Boeing?
