31/1/2017 07:35 | Interesting Article which has a specific section on Hardides CVD products. " The value of coatings in the UK advanced manufacturing supply chain is around £11bn" It also talks of the replacement of HCP (hexavalent chrome plating) due to environmental drivers this year with Hardide providing a proven alternative. Well worth reading if you're invested here or considering it. hxxp://www.harhxxp:/ | dibs61

30/1/2017 09:30 | 1p hit. Anyone care to speculate on the possible reason for the recent share price movement? | dibs61

12/1/2017 19:52 | Anyone with the slightest bit of curiosity as to cpx might have usefully bought them on 6 Jan. Have a look at the price today! This is a company with great technology now becoming commercial. Ironically it is similar to HDD in some respects -it joined AIM around 9 years ago and then gently fell away.It had decent technology and products but the potential buyers (customers) were not ready. But that is now changing and it has signed licences with two global electronics companies and there is plenty more to come. The main difference is that it has not issued so many shares as HDD. | meijiman
06/1/2017 14:34 | Meijiman - thanks for drawing attention to the Fenner statement today. Very interesting. FWIW I don't think the massive downturn in the O&G sector is an 'excuse' rather the 'reason' Hardides revenues have struggled. I don't think that's in doubt is it? And Hardide, to be fair, have already acknowledged they see signs of modest recovery in the O&G sector. | dibs61
06/1/2017 08:52 | I was having a read of Fenner's statement today. They noted an upturn in their oil and gas business. Will be interesting to see what HDD say when they no longer have this excuse as a get out of jail card. | meijiman
05/1/2017 22:32 | Unfortunately I'm watching and waiting with an average of 2p. | nigthepig
04/1/2017 14:33 | Well I'm pleased for you if you are making money here. Yes stop losses would have been advisable no doubt about it. Still everyone makes investing mistakes. I'm sure most people here have an average entry point somewhat higher than 0.72p. The company implied that aerospace orders were just round the corner -two years later no news. | meijiman
04/1/2017 14:18 | Well I agree it's been an unsuccessful investment for you but not for me. I haven't required any patience so far! Only been invested a couple of months and with an average of 0.72 hardly a disaster is it? Although I read your posts (you might come up with something new) they are extremely repetitive and frankly largely irrelevant now. Oh, and next time, do yourself a favour and set a 10/20% stop loss limit eh? | dibs61
04/1/2017 12:38 | Well done Dozey- I'm sure your investment skills mirror your name. | meijiman
04/1/2017 12:02 | I have not done badly out of Hardide. It has involved lots of buying and selling though! | canhope
04/1/2017 12:00 | Dibs61 - the filter button is extremely useful. | dozey3
04/1/2017 11:39 | I'm happy to give it a rest though glad you agree its an unsuccessful investment. I have a chump change holding in this which in contrast to most of my other stuff is failing dismally. Your patience must be infinite if you are content with progress here. I bet the Russian bloke can't believe it -must be like having a job in the old Soviet Union. The sad thing for any investor who has been here along time is that they have been diluted so much there will never be any meaningful capital appreciation. I suspect most holders have forgotten about this or washed their hands of it. | meijiman
04/1/2017 11:01 | Wonder how long it will be before the meijiman diatribe gives it a rest. Point made. A million times. Boring. | dibs61
03/1/2017 16:29 | Wonder how long it will be before the Hardide begging bowl is dusted down in order to tap shareholders? | meijiman
28/12/2016 19:44 | Well done to the HDD management for their wonderful achievements in 2016. The stock market moves to an all time high. The HDD share price moves to an all time low.How you can get away with this is incredible -must be ten years now. What does 2017 have in store I wonder? | meijiman
12/12/2016 22:27 | No surprises unfortunately, so back to sleep for a few months. Progress in the US is pleasing, and that is surely where the breakthrough will come, Airbus notwithstanding. | dozey3 |
