Also, yesterday Edison released a research note for Rockhopper... given the importance of Sealion for both RKH & PMO, it's worth posting here for those who may not be watching RKH too closely.

Thanks Chinahere... link re-posted as "clickable" (by making any of the "http" CAPITAL font)

I especially liked this bit.... "when commercial production from Zama commences."

Release of this news should now see some of the recent shorters climb back into their burrows.

FWIW, the retail bonds PMO1 are still gaining strength, and this gives perhaps a more reliable indication of PMO's financial health.

tab-I think your sympathy is misplaced. Some people just say things for effect.

Just for the record, im long on this stock, and would have cut my losses if my breakeven wasn't at 86p. A fall to the 50's again could reduce that average massively, and put me in a profit within the 70's.

Sad but true, we seem to be running out of excuses now (wait until oil returns to 60+, wait till zama is announced, wait until end of Jan)Although I see this stock as a medium-long term option, in the short term it is so predictable. Few pence rise here and there, followed by a fall 30% greater. There are no loyalties in business, if you guys think shorting for the short term is beneficial, I agree. Although make sure you are out before it rises towards the 90p mark, probably a few months off.

Cant blame you if you do to be very honest, although do you see PMO going below 55? Best to play out tomorrow and see how it reacts to this zama news, although I wont lie, i dont see it moving much at all to be honest. Hoping I'm wrong.

I've been long for a while now and I am losing quite a lot here. Is it worth taking the loss and going short?

I think these API numbers are leaked every week. No reaction from oil companies when Brent was pushing up over $62 earlier today, and an inevitable drop before they were released.
