Shares don't go vertical all the time, they are slow burners. Long haul for myself, its a pension busting winner in the long run...

Drilling beneath the current discovery to test a deeper prospect and find that elusive oil water contact.

That's comical. Corbyn has no chance

yes, the market May be in for a shock next week.

This looks extremely vulnerable, prospects of a Corbyn Govnt will hike rates and make Premiers debt unsustainable, hence I think the grab for more assets via a RI, otherwise Premier will not survive, as US banks want Catcher/Zama
Be careful

Don't you dare compare me with this idiot; all my posts are in the interest of improving the share price and stamping insider dealing and share price manipulation and putting in place a CEO who is capable of doing the job.

Jabba is not

Stevebore; get over yourself, your little tin pot thread would not influence the markets lol.

So your assuming the financial world homes in on your little thread and it influences the share price lol

ARF ARF ARF.

Nothing more than insider share price manipulation with the help of Jabba.

markymar, only if Sealion and the Falklands resources generally don't become stranded assets, they can't be left undeveloped for much longer; peak oil coming much sooner than expected. .

They need to keep sea lion as it's the tip of the ice burge The prospects in Falklands is huge, low tax and more oil there than in North sea.

If Corbyn gets in the Argies will probably get the Falklands never mind farming in to sealion

Hi hsfinch.
You are spot on. Unlikely they could sell SEALION or get another partner.. PMO have recognised this for sometime, imo.

However, one must acknowledge that SEALION production will be more profitable than the North sea due to the low tax regime in the Falklands.

I don't think Sealion will go ahead unless PMO gets more partners onboard. But who is gonna buy into it. They've been trying to farm down for years. No one's interested. If oil gets back to $100 somebody might be tempted. Or if Corbyn gets in, maybe the Argies will farm in. Messier than Brexit. So ain't gonna happen. IMO.

Good morning vanadiumx

I should declare that I hold RKH. The SEALION operating costs will be almost the same as in the North Sea.

Please read the September presentation from RKH, notably page 8

"Field opex $15 per barrel"

That's interesting because that shows how close the costs are to the North Sea.
An article on North sea production;

2nd March 2018

"The new report suggests that spending was greater than previously reported. It also shows operating cost per barrel of oil produced has halved since 2014, at least in US dollars, reaching just above $15."

However; the BIG plus for the Falklands is the much more favourable tax regime .
