Looks like 2024 fcf missed by around 300m while projected 2025 fcf of 1bn is a fall on the 1.7bn fcf average over last 3 years for the wintershal portfolio. |

Doing some (admittedly noddy) maths, I have 2025 production costs at $2.3b, CAPEX of $2,6b and FCF of $1b for a total income of $6b ($6.1b in 2024).
Assuming 450kboepd that's a realised price of $38 per barrel.
Each $5 on the price of a barrel adds $115m of FCF. So if they get $68 per barrel then the FCF is $1.7b per annum. |

Harbour is absolutely a takeover target and could be in the process of talking to a suitor. Mentioned my reasoning for this last year. There are a number of subtle changes in company emphasis. I wonder if these changes are to acquiesce with a potential suitor.

I noticed that GS issued a 'Buy' note on Harbour in August 2022 for 609p. Given the timeframes that these, so called, professionsals say that your investment window should be, it beggars belief that the majority of brokers change their views like the wind changes direction. How are you ever supposed to take them seriously if they can reverse their advice within a medium-term investment window? |
Note how each time over the past year the HBR share price has fallen to the current level, it has bounced each time. So now looks a good entry point, both for a trading buy and for long term holding. |
