27/12/2023 09:09 | UK & European Gas Prices Rising Sharply Here Today with Brent steady at circa USD $81 | back2basics1
26/12/2023 20:16 | Hi Mick, still blundering along! Hope life is treating you well! Gave up the rower, sore back :( getting older..... What price? quite a bit higher than $2;50 I would say. European prices are $12-15. The LNG shippers are coining it. There seems to be a real 2 way pull with US gas, lots of US LNG capacity coming on line in the next few years which leads some to fear it may overtake production leading to steeply rising prices in the US . That is the tale of Goehring and Rozencwajg : Others think US production will surpass export capacity and prices will stay low, like Doomberg who is also bearish global LNG as too much has been/ is being built They had a piece on 12th Dec "Liquefied Natural Glut" wheels within wheels :) | stevie blunder
26/12/2023 18:43 | Hi Stevie Hope you're well mate, long time no see, how's the rowing?😀 What's the lowest European price for gas to make US LNG profitable? I have concerns US have aims to increase oil production but they'll be awash with associated gas and may flood the European market to get rid of it rather than flare it? | mickinvest
26/12/2023 10:41 | Hi Bilvernon On Trading Economics website Natural Gas ( today at about $2.50) refers to Henry Hub prices, the biggest Natural gas market in the US. There are several other regional price metrics in the US but Henry Hub is the largest. US natural gas prices are lower than world prices because North America doesn't have enough pipelines or LNG to export surplus and supply is rising, mainly due to increased associated gas from oil production and reduced flaring. The cheapest energy in the world is land locked US gas. Lots of info on US gas here: Trading economics has a feed for UK gas, which will be what they are getting for their non-hedged output Hope that helps | stevie blunder
26/12/2023 09:39 | Thanks rolo7 just read app2 it looks like around 12% of production hedged for 2024 . | wskill
26/12/2023 09:23 | The hedges at 40p a therm are now expired so even with todays price of 85p it will not be difficult to improve on them. | wskill
26/12/2023 09:16 | We all know HBR is a gas producer too....but just what sort of gas? I watch live commodity prices on the tradingeconomics site. It list 2 types of gas at very different prices. There is 'natural gas' and 'TTF gas' both down today. So which gas is typical of HBR? | billvernon
25/12/2023 06:18 | Harbour Energy (LON:HBR) - “investment bank Stifel upgraded its target price to 570p from 480p.” This is MONEY: “Back in London, Harbour Energy marched ahead a day after it inked a near-£9billion deal to buy the non-Russian assets of German firm Wintershall Dea. With Britain's biggest North Sea oil and gas producer on course to become a major global player, investment bank Stifel upgraded its target price to 570p from 480p.” | bearnecessities33
25/12/2023 00:56 | Near or above £5 imho Should be over £4 now in a normal market | 1senn
24/12/2023 17:42 | Hi Semmi, I think you will find by the time the deal closes, the power's that be will ensure the share price is above the £3.60p take-up price. My personal opinion of course 😏 | tri harder
24/12/2023 17:26 | Just wondering, if the share price stays below 360p until the deal closes, who would take up the new shares if they are making a loss? | semmi
23/12/2023 17:28 | Hmmmm....Some window dressing at Harbour Energy's #HBR 'acquisition' of Wintershall Dea. It is actually a reverse acquisitionWintersha | wolfofhounslow
23/12/2023 11:44 | So 1.7 billion shares will be in issue | sbb1x
23/12/2023 09:33 | Kibes, even more so in light of decreasing interest rates for the next 2 to 3 years. I’m very positive on potential upside here, should beat most expectations. It will be interesting to see how Q1 pans out. | tyler19
23/12/2023 09:00 | tyler19 - A useful statement indicating that BASF does not intend to sell immediately but will hold on for prices well above 360p which it expects. | kibes
23/12/2023 08:18 | BASF made the following statement: “In addition to the cash component, the shares in Harbour that BASF will receive upon completion of the transaction offer significant potential for value creation and allow for a gradual and optimized exit from the oil and gas business over the next few years.” You can find this at hxxps://www.offshore | tyler19
23/12/2023 07:21 | PDO, post merger Harbour will be a highly cash generative business and combined with an investment grade credit rating, it will attract a lot of buyers, even if BASF decide to sell early, which I don’t believe they will. It’ll be similar to Shell where some institutional investors move out of O&G but the share price continues to rise. Good luck! | tyler19
22/12/2023 23:49 | HBR shareholder who is delighted with the deal here. I suspect some of the euphoric talk of 500p is premature as *presumably* BASF and in time LetterOne will be size sellers at 360p, assuming this plays out like HLN where the GSK and Pfizer overhangs have capped the upside so far. Or do others think the WD shareholders might hang around for longer? | pdosullivan
22/12/2023 19:38 | That's what majority of clowns said here for 3yrs. That's what experts of expert analyst said for years here. Not me...just read the articles. | spacedust
22/12/2023 16:23 | Not HBRs fault the state of UK market they are doing what they do best growing the company ,give it time a year from now it will be a much different story. | wskill |
