TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

 

The Company announces that, in accordance with the terms of its share repurchase programme announced on 12 March 2024 (the "Share Repurchase Programme"), the Company has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 5 pence each from Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc. Such purchase was effected pursuant to instructions issued by the Company on 12 March 2024.

Highest price paid per share (pence):	26.16
Lowest price paid per share (pence):	25.76
Volume weighted average price paid per share (pence):	26.03

 

 

The Company will hold the purchased shares in treasury.

 

A full breakdown of the individual trades made by Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc on behalf of the Company as part of the Share Repurchase Programme is attached to this document.

 

Since 12 March 2024 pursuant to the Share Repurchase Programme, the Company has purchased 594,883 ordinary shares. Following the purchase of these shares, the Company holds 8,286,130 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 4,993,979,477 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
