Amazing to think that I was able to buy more of these at 590 only back in February. I've now realised what a great opportunity shorters like slippery can bring, just as long as one is confident in a company's fundamentals.

Yes they don't seem to be too concerned!

Funny how a few months ago were a third lower than this. Having topped up again at 720p only to watch it slide to less than 600p, and we've had divis and touched 800p for the first time!

Market already aware of the tough summer comparables hence the jump in share price which is due to the news on both volume and margin.

There is nothing new about their 'comparatives getting more difficult ' comment.They made the same statement in their update earlier in the year which had little or no effect on the share price

Easy Mylands, RBonnier may have a point. Be interesting to see what the markets think. Pleased with the continued revenue growth, when you factor in that we were only rated on a forward P/E of 15.

The summer is going to be stickier, it would be interesting to know how we fare in terms of the bottom line for this Q too.

Another solid announcement. Pity I broke the fundamental rule about investing in GVC - don't take profits (although luckily, only sold 20% of my original shareholding). Hoping for some weakness to correct the error of my ways, but looks unlikely now, unless we see a global sell-off. Happy days!! Well done to GVC team, and all the GVC bulls on this thread!

No special div but then that was too much to hope for after the last special div in Feb.

Good numbers all round and unlike the other gaming companies who quote punter friendly results for their weak performances, once again good old GVC bucks the trend. In my book we definitely deserve a premium rating in the sector and at some point we will attain it. So lots to look forward to!

Comparitives going forward are going to be more challenging that's what the markets will be focusing on not past performance.
