"Gvc Holdings Plc (GVC.L)’s moving averages reveal that the Tenkan line of the shares are above the Kijun-Sen line, indicating potential upward momentum building in the bullish chart. Gvc Holdings Plc moved 3.28 in the most recent session and touched 902.82 on a recent tick.

The Tenkan-Sen is generally used in combination with the Kijun-Sen to create predications of future momentum."

Kijun-Sen line? Tenken line!? Has some one confused their charts with a Tokyo underground map?

I think that the EGM resolutions could be what's known as a 'porcupine provision', that being, measures put into a company's charter to repel a hostile takeover.

Seven years from now? With the promised organic doubling of EBITDA in approx half that time, don't you think your target might be a little conservative?

party really is a gold standard brand.
Buying BPTY was a stroke of genius really and not easy to get it away from 888

Nice timing yesterday, Fizzy. Challenge to previous high now back on the cards, imo.

Great news about the Partypoker, Jeff H. Thanks. Seems as though GVC have outperformed all the competition and "online poker appears to be on an upswing".

Partypoker booming:-

"GVC pulled in an estimated $29.1 million, up from $18.5 million in 2016. That's an increase of a whopping 57 percent, even better than the 48 percent year-over-year revenue growth the company reported in October."

The question now is can they sustain the upward momentum? Another mega deal is what we need to see to move us up in to the FOOTSIE.

Exactly a year ago on December 1st 2016 the total voting rights were 292.5 million shares. A year later they are 303.5 million, an incease of approximately 3%. As far as I can ascertain this is down to share options being exercised.

Over the same period, the share price has risen from 656p to 900p, an increase in value of 37%. I think we shareholders should be well satisfied with the BOD's performance!

I'm sitting on my hands, fizzy, but I have a strong hunch you may have hit the nail on the head there. This march down from 930p-ish seems totally unjustified, imo.

...back above 900p at close - looks like a good call there, fizzy. Well done!

Well had to take advantage at 894.40 but knowing my luck it will now head S again.

exactly - whether to be a tastier target for for "reverse TO" reasons as the predator.

Taking over something like Ladbrokes means GVC needs to be clean

It would be boom time, that is the reason I feel they
are clearing the decks of non regulated markets, dyor.

Festario, have you turned bearish? You prefer GVC not to be in the FTSE100? I would have thought that would be bullish for GVC.

They also sold their entire holding whereas they billed it as 2.8m shares, so obviously a) the demand was there and b) they are fortifying their war chest. Interesting to see how it all plays out, in the sector generally I mean

Just seen that in the RNS issued by JPJ. Stars no longer have a holding in JPJ. Shares being placed at 802p, a discount of 60p on last night's closing price.

Stars group selling JPJ stake, maybe they are short of money for the GVC bid!

I tried to find some figures for Cozy Games -its an Isle of Man company so couldn't get anything from Co's House

But noted they have some bingo brands and then the small print of one says:-

Bingo Legacy is operated by ElectraWorks Limited (“ElectraWorks”) in Great Britain (England, Wales and Scotland) and by Cozy Games Management Limited (“CGML”) in all other territories. ElectraWorks Limited is licensed and regulated by the Gambling Commission (Number: 000-039011-R-319371-010) for players in Great Britain (England, Wales and Scotland) (“UK Players”). CGML is licensed and regulated by the Isle of Man Gambling Commission

ElectraWorks Ltd is a GVC company so were they already in partnership or has the Bingo website had its terms detail already changed?

Anybody got a route to Isle Of Man company info?
