You have got to remember Block 26 is in the east of Syria. It's quite a long way from Assad and the governments control. I'm not sure who controls the area. It might be the Kurds.

No I have 116 million PHE shares that's all I need for a risky position but been observing I bought some on the earlier excitement back in march got in at 6p sold some but once it turned it was impossible to sell out just about broke even even though an early entry before the rush This does look like a much better chance of an end to the worst of the fighting but there is a long way to go yet I do wish you all good luck

Warwick good post.The previous high was just under £4 but I think £1 is possible as Syria are not in OPEC so not restrictions apply.

Remember one hell of a lot of shares were issued at 4p you are all deluded if you think these will fetch a £1 any time soon there are 4 times as many shares in issue from previous highs Yes this could go higher from here on great expectations but you need to value the company as price times number of shares not what the previous high was effectively the previous high is 4 times lower now !, Not decamping no slur on any of you just trying to addd some common sense to the euphoria being bestowed Gulfsands Petroleum Plc ("Gulfsands" or the "Company"), the AIM listed oil and gas exploration company (AIM:GPX) with activities in Syria, Morocco, Tunisia and Colombia, announces the results of the recent Open Offer undertaken at a price of 4.0 pence per Open Offer Share, on the basis of 3.01 Open Offer Shares for every 1 Existing Share held.The Open Offer closed for acceptances at 11:00 a.m. on 12 January 2016 and the Company is pleased to announce that is has received valid acceptances in respect of 151,760,157 Open Offer Shares from Qualifying Shareholders. Pursuant to the Underwriting, a further 203,077,139 Open Offer Shares have been subscribed for by Waterford and Blake, a company owned and controlled by Mr. Griffiths, such that a total of 354,837,296 Open Offer Shares have been subscribed for under the Open Offer.The Company has therefore raised aggregate gross proceeds of GBP14,193,491.84 through the Open Offer.

Yes they are addx bought now Gkp we also could wake up one morning and it's sold for X amount Bec 3 share holders have 86 % so they can sell with out asking us I think we going to be sold soon
