30/5/2024 17:11 | "Are you sure about those numbers sarah:-)" Yes they're certainly impressive aren't they, glad they got your attention, that 10-20 API sludge is good stuff. But you're right. Here's the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation site that shows Kuwaiti crude selling yesterday not at $85.53 but at $86.39 and they should know better than anyone how much they're selling their own oil for:- That would bump up GKP's net profit from $593,081,280 to $599,768,640. Let's call it a round $600 million a year net to GKP. Here's another impressive number for you . No idea how much they would spend developing the field but let's say $100 million a year. That would leave $500 million a year to distribute to shareholders if they felt so minded. The current buyback will leave around 217 million shares in issue. So that would mean a dividend of £2.30 per share per year. Hope that helps. | habshan
30/5/2024 16:58 | Yes 0iLi0 the city wine bars are full of GKP talk this evening. Most oil desks are fill to spill with GKP shares. 😉 I'm off for a pint of Barolo. I'll report back more news later. | johnbuysghost

30/5/2024 15:21 | Bigdog - "Top quality oil 39 API. Sludge 12-18 API." Let's just take a quick look at this "sludge". Under any new deal between the KRG the IOCs and the ICG, Kurdish contracts would be seen as having been legitimised and the risk factor would be removed. They would be seen as Iraqi contracts. Kuwaiti crude has the same API range as Shaikan crude (10-20 deg). Yesterday:- KUWAIT May 29 (KUNA) - Price of the Kuwaiti crude oil rose USD 1.13 to settle at USD 85.53 per barrel on Tuesday. Which according to KUNA was $1.31 more than Brent. At the 60kbpd that Shaikan can potentially produce without needing to drill any new wells we would have the following:- 60kbpd x 30 days x $85.53 x .36 = $55,423,440 net to GKP per month. Minus $6 million a month costs gives a profit of $49,423,440. Or $593,081,280 a year. And Kuwait sells 2 million barrels of that sludge every day, no wonder they're so fabulously wealthy. But Bigdog sees it as a problem. | habshan
30/5/2024 14:43 | Not bad volume. Should be an even bigger day tomorrow | shortsqueezer

30/5/2024 14:09 | Top quality oil 39 API Sludge 12-18 API. Individual contracts. Be daft to offer the same price wouldn't it? I note that windy is getting extremely agitated, is the share price the issue after 15 years? That's all ok Carroll, you blizzard the bb with the same old garbage repeatedly 24/7 many ignore you. Its only the desperate that read your BS. Pipe opening soon was it, 14 months ago? | bigdog5 |
