Agreed..Well there are so many reasons why you will get a takeover and not never ending divs, prime one , is that when FDP agreed the co won't be able to finance the 3-4year 1 BN dollar capex AND stacks of dividends as well.So that's why major shareholders will be taking best offer now....and leaving the future to IOC new ownership to

The world uses aporox 88 million barrels of oil a day and the increase announced yesterday in production is around 430,000 barrels a month!

But yet when the share price was 60p you didn’t bother buying any shares and were shouting about wipeout 2 and 40p incoming. Not a clever move there was it?

I note that the Saudis and UAE have altered their stance and are able to up production if and when required. Only a few weeks ago the Saudis weren't able to. How odd. I wonder what they've been promised.

But as there is sufficient oil reaching the market currently they will hold off until Winter.
