Well I wasn't expecting a drop at all today following a strong finish last week. Someone taking advantage of the slight dip in oil price coupled with the shenanigans from Baghdad perhaps?Although that's not made any difference recently.

Anyone who thinks that isn't that smart, what you are seeing although it is not clear now, but will be in 10 years from now when people look back is a fight against the autocratic powers of Russia and China. Of course people on here will immediately start spouting bs about how Western gov's are bad, while they live really free and open lives in them, but those same people have never lived in either China or Russia and have zero clue about what is happening right now. Just like Germany had their eyes closed for the last 2 decades about how Russia would strangle Europe if we said "no" to them. Poor Ukraine are fighting the good fight against Russia and their autocratic gov system, had Kiev have fallen then things would be looking quite different in other places around the world. It's actually the battle for the future, maybe you don't care but you really should care about what kind of a place your children or grandchildren will grow up in:) The time of the West is coming to an end, and you want to replace it with something like the Russian system. Lol

Shafaq News / A source from al-Siyada coalition revealed that the Homeland Rescue alliance will meet in Erbil to discuss the current political impasse.

The source told Shafaq News agency that Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi and Khamis al-Khanjar will attend the meeting, noting that Muqtada al-Sadr will delegate a representative to the meeting.

He added that the meeting will propose a series of solutions to address the situation, and set a new roadmap for their participation in the political process.

The President of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), Masoud Barzani, held a series of meetings with the Iraqi political forces in order to overcome the current political impasse impeding the election of a new president of the republic and the formation of a new government.

According to a readout issued by the KDP, the Kurdish leader headed a meeting of the KDP leading council earlier today, Sunday.

The meeting touched upon the talks that followed the October 10 election and the formation of the Homeland Rescue Coalition, the obstacles to the formation of the federal government, and the efforts to overcome the political deadlock in the country.

Leaders of the Group of Seven most industrialized countries pledged to ban the import of Russian oil in response to President Vladimir Putin’s war in Ukraine. The heads of the leading economies made the commitment after holding a video call with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskiy on Sunday. Several G-7 countries have already pledged to diversify away from Russian supplies. The U.S. and U.K. have already announced bans on Russian oil imports and Germany has backed a proposal for the EU to get rid of it by January. The pledge is also the furthest that Japan has gone in committing to halting Russian oil purchases.
