OAP said 23rd last day to get registered so if you sell today you get the Divi , I think. Not used to share that have Divis.

IG are taking a punt doing that with a fortnight's lag, especially as the currency markets are quite volatile just now. But I guess that's their game.

IG take the dollar amount and convert it on the spot rate day they credit customers SB CFD accounts.All standard IG procedure.....But this time , not sure if GKP incompetent or doing this for a cunning reason.

Unfortunately, Bloomberg and London Stock Exchange had confirmed that there isn't any update regarding this dividend payout from Gulf Keystone Petroleum. Therefore, we are unable to credit any dividend in your account as we do not have any update regarding this dividend.The information reflected could be incorrect as this dividend is not going ex today."

It's ex-dividend today, but IG can't adjust spreadbets for the dividend because the idiots at GKP haven't declared the amount per share. I assume that's what they mean by "not going ex today".

As I was saying yesterday, this is a problem and someone's wrist needs a sharp slap. Don't companies have professional advisers to hold their hands and tell them how to behave?
