H you will notice GKP waited 8 months to cancel treasury shares. ,but did sometime between Oct 15 and Nov 2Once cancelled their value as a deterrent to s hostile bidders intervening a friendly but incomplete deal was lost.Hence I think a friendly deal in place then....TBAAs the OP increases , so does the value of assets in the ground. If I was on the look out for assets I would not want to wait much longer.Just for the record , INOC's make future investment decisions in Sept/Oct then typically implement these decisions in ~ January of the following year.
