23/11/2020 07:41 | RNS Initial production from SH-12 was from the Lower Jurassic Butmah reservoir providing valuable information for future development planning. The workover involved moving up hole, perforating and producing from the main SAM reservoir. SH-12 returned to production on 15 November 2020 and the well is currently flowing at a stable rate of over 5,000 bopd. The additional production flows to the PF-2 production facility, where there is spare production capacity. The workover design allowed the original Electronic Submersible Pump ("ESP") completion to remain in place during the operation and the ESP is now back-in service. The operation came in ahead of schedule and on budget. The Company is pleased to confirm that average 2020 gross production is expected to be at the upper end of the previously disclosed guidance range of 35,000 - 36,000 bopd, with the field currently producing at c.39,000 bopd. | highlander7

22/11/2020 11:18 | Spot on H7 , even Zion Lights a ExR spokes person has backed Nuclear . If we had gone for Throium reactors after the war we'd now have free energy ( safe too ). A former Extinction Rebellion (XR) spokeswoman left the environmental group to campaign for nuclear power because she says it is the only way to deal with the climate crisis. Zion Lights, writing in the Daily Mail, also said that she had become unable to defend some of the group's claims. XR "peddle messages of doomsday gloom that alienate" and offer "little in the way of positive solutions", she added. The group calls on governments to take immediate action on climate change. It describes itself as an international "non-violent civil disobedience activist movement" and has been involved in a number of high-profile protests since it was formed in 2018. Last week it targeted UK newspapers - which it has accused of failing to report on climate change - by blocking printing presses and delaying distribution. | nestoframpers

22/11/2020 06:12 | Looking good for oil before too long. Oil Demand In Asia Is Bouncing Back By Editorial Dept - Nov 20, 2020, 11:00 AM CST 1. V-shaped recovery and a bull market - While the V-shaped recovery hopes were dashed for 2020, the highly-effective vaccines set to be made available in the coming months promises a swift recovery in the latter half of 2021. - But the story could be even bigger. Goldman Sachs says that the “recovery in commodity prices will actually be the beginning of a much longer structural bull market for commodities.” - The investment bank said there are three main drivers: under-investment in supply, Covid-related fiscal stimulus, and a weaker dollar combined with inflation risk. All add up to a bull market in the coming years. - Goldman says the 2020s could see a “structural bull market on par with the 2000s.” - But the story doesn’t end there. The bank adds that green stimulus capex could be as big as BRIC’s investment 20 years ago, but developing countries (particularly China) will also see a consumer spending boost that did not occur the last time around. 2. OPEC+ probably needs to extend - OPEC+ is scheduled to unwind the current production cuts of 7.7 mb/d to just 5.7 mb/d beginning in January. But the group has sent signals that they may have to wait on the production increase. - Refining runs in the Atlantic Basin – Europe and the U.S. – remain at the lowest levels in two decades. Much of Europe and the U.S. is suffering through the worst coronavirus wave yet, prompting local and regional restrictions on travel… | beernut
