I suspect most of the missing 30% is held between Goldman Sachs; Bank of America / Merrill Lynch...

Nestoframpers, they specifically told you they only buying into Treasury now , if shares required to satisfy VESTING options. Can't vest till 21/22 unless change of control. So sooner than later imo Looks like a cup and handle might form. What's the point anymore , GKP is going to rocket sometime , hopefully this year but when we are not expecting it .

Divs ? Yes 12.25p currently, albeit prob not going to get paid Pou if sold.nobody would care.If they do the obvious ,effect a large off mkt buy, that increases the div if their is one

Be interesting to see how many GKP yesterday's aggressive march down yielded.Wide spread again , discouraging buyers , encouraging sellers. That first 15m spent in a few days.So I expect "something" news wise then they'll throw the other 10 m .Have to be a reason to split tranches

So in short they have far far too much cash , not enough debt.So spare cash needs to be used.To conncentrate existing equity by one means or another.

Pps the free float is currently170m so around 55m are not available to trade That lot may already be pledged to GKP , just needs say a quarter of their huge excess cash to pay for it, peanutsActually Urals headroom is pushing 600m and the company is hugely deleveraged.I'd expect them to buy in at least 55m shares probably from former notes on pre agreed terms. The more the better obviously for those remaining at sale :)I know gkp hero.If they bought back 100m shares pre agreed for say $ 300m of their $550m cash hroomThen they save £12m on divs, increases the Div by 80% to everyone else Of course as they have sold the company it increases sale profits for remaining sholders by 80%too :)))

No johnyboy buying back that amount would be total madness. That number would cost $350m+ and would mean taking on more debt. As I've told you so many times the company has to keep a healthy bank balance to ensure they never get into the mess pre the wipeout. Let's assume $100m. If ever there was proof as to why Urals was able to wreck his business its there in his posts.

They will on current increasing spend rate run out of the 15m before end AugustImo something then happens pre results , a much larger cash buyback or equity for debt swap, then further 10m to take through to Hy resultsHas to be an explanation to split the 25m.... something changes .... otherwise no point
