21/6/2019 12:07 | Urals21 Jun '19 - 12:02 - 587226 of 587227 0 0 0 100,000 just went through at 241.19p Wonder if that's the first tranche of 8m plus? That would be my conclusion, Urals. They are not going to get enough to fulfill the warrants in a hurry by buying in penny lots. Could be a 2m+ day today. Probably see some big after hours trades today. | pensioner2

21/6/2019 11:58 | Buyback $25m initiallyThat's around 8.2m shares to buy at current pricesIf that 38% is held largely by buyer , hostile or friendly, then the days of shorting this down are over, with the company a buyer of any weakness, and if it is hostile and they have been snubbed by the board expect a bidYes Interesting that house broker described it as the most undervalued E and P listed on Lse, when the price was £2.54.So no doubt the company will be a buyer there and beyond It does all smack a bit of a hostile takeover defence as well. | urals

21/6/2019 11:34 | Very true Urals but if he's Exxon's man on the inside the Chinese would want him out. It's all very interesting. | pensioner2
21/6/2019 11:31 | He's Lundin /Africa etc maybe too many roles "Any person who holds more than five mandates at listed companies will be classified as OVERBOARDED. For the purposes of calculating this limit, a non-executive directorship counts as one mandate, a non-executive chairmanship counts as two mandates, and a position as executive director (or a comparable role) is counted as three mandates."Source: ISS UK voting policy | urals

21/6/2019 11:24 | SH-3 HAD FALLEN TO 3,720 BARRELS PER DAY WHAT WAS ITS PREVIOUS PEAK | tess_tickle
21/6/2019 11:24 | Soden's experience seems largely o&g related so that 30% against could well be someone who has an interest in removing him. But it can't be part of the 38% missing which we must assume is now largely in a predator's hands and therefore barred from being voted. I'm beginning to think it might be Exxon who are waiting for their moment to pounce. P.S. Soden was also at one point advisor to the US govt. on energy. | pensioner2

21/6/2019 11:05 | So I've been proved correct again with all the delays, timeline and production. Only going to get one producing well this year. The 55k a day going backwards fast. As for the share repurchase scheme on top of a dividend it reeks of desperation in trying to keep the Insti's on board. Does it look like Sami was in agreement or is that why he's on his bike? Waste money buying their shares for the Insti's to sell into and get out? The Gas injection project for the hyped 75k is disappearing further down the timeline as is the much hyped 110k a day. That is the reason for their evident panic with trying to keep the Insti's happy. FDP in the long grass still? No mention of a new CPR. Poison chalice for any new CFO? The very long road has now become even longer. | bigdog5
