It's less than 2 months since 10% of the company was sold at 1.95. The share price is now 2.62. Why don't the big players sell?

China's largest refiner Sinopec is working with advisers and has made an approach to Gulf Keystone, Bloomberg reported, citing sources familiar with the matter.

The company may also attract other bidders, according to Bloomberg.

A spokesman for Gulf Keystone declined to comment, while Sinopec could not be immediately reached for comment.

I note that Brent has been falling of late. Bearing in mind POO is one of the two main reasons for the share price climbing far too high a retrace looks very possible.

I think hearts is correct. The share price is way over the top and there's been much hype about the jam sometime maybe possibly, a very long way off. share price has climbed on POO and hyped pathways. All in order to get a placing/bonds away for the delusional new investors? Lets see what transpires:-) Aimho.

I wonder how much progress would have been achieved under DNO's management if they had got shaiCON. The MNR must be looking at DNO's success and wondering as well.

Broadford returns to a good point that I have regularly mentioned in the past.

The MNR have always made sure they get the best of any deal and they will again. Its just a question of how much it will cost GKP in trading and negotiating.

Any chance of progress prior to the new shiny lipstick coated FDP being submitted? This one will be submitted? I seem to recall one that was going to be submitted for Sheik AdI but was then handed back to the MNR costing $20m. Aimho of course.
