This company is at the centre of a bid battle .The initiative of White Squire defence makes that clear.It might not get voted through though.as a bid now far more likely pre that vote.

I think GKP recognise that the share price is too cheap and start buy backs - it is a very logical step and for investors it leaves them in control of when to release funds in order to optimise tax. I am a big fan of buy-backs rather than dividends.

They don't buy huge, daily ,they accumulate over months and months gently building minimising price impact.This company is at the centre of a bid battle .The initiative of White Squire makes that clear.It might not get voted through though.as a bid now far more likely pre that vote.

040 I agree whole heartedly, Baghdad could have had a Tri party meeting with the Turks and the Kurds and settled this like men.
Turkey was getting the oil distributed with no problems until!
Even Saddad would have sorted this out quickly but the USA installed puppets in Baghdad are the problem as elsewhere throughout the world

It is much easier to maintain an incumbent position than to let it go and then try to recover it. Once Turkey opens the pipeline, it will be hard to turn it off again without appearing to be a blackmailer. With the line closed, Turkey can procrastinate with various excuses until they hear the magic words “OK, we'll waive the [French court's] award”.
