The GKP saga will soon be over.

It's going to be a takeover that closes the book.

Fracking will be back !!

" Over 7,000 former Tory Members and activists have joined Reform UK in recent weeks including a record 24 hours just after Jeremy Hunt gave his tax raising budget. People knew the game was up, it is over......

...... Reform UK has just released our updated policy document on our website. We have over 560 candidates already lined up to stand in the General Election whenever it comes. So we will be standing everywhere except in Northern Ireland, some 630 seats.

I have never known such anger and frustration by so many voters with the Westminster class. Real change is coming. It is quite possible that we are seeing the slow but certain sinking of the final majority Tory Government in our lifetime. "

Look out for MPs not standing again at the next general election !!

astute obs as per. As you recall, VLCC's don't carry Russian crude, unless it is transferred to them from "Smaller" vessels, (Aframax/Suezmax). They are in demand now as you'll see from free to join link below. Price cap for crude due next Tuesday, (I bet we'll see YKW next Tuesday - BD), then products cap in New Year. Demand for these ships, (And their shares) will go up IMO as it's only 6-7 days from Baltic to Rotterdam, whereas 26-30 days from US Gulf. And funnily enough - you know who financed the Wempen litigation don't you..? Some Co's will be setting up "New Offices" in favourable locations to add their vessels to a ghost fleet, but probably not enough to go round.

HIGHLIGHTS:
Moscow may be short by over 100 ships to reroute crude
Insufficient number of ice-class vessels for winter liftings
Some EU owners may seek to bypass price cap

Price of oil surges amid speculation that OPEC+ nations will cut production

By Bloomberg
Oil extended a rebound from the lowest level in almost a year on speculation that the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies will deepen supply cuts to respond to weakening global demand.

I cant see many tanker owners prepared to ship oil worldwide without vessel and cargo insurance. Especially supertankers. In fact Im almost certain they wont let the smaller tankers through the Panama and Suez Canals without it. So the OP might rise faster than they think.

About 2.4mn barrels a day of Russian oil will need to find a new home outside EU and G7 countries. India, China and other buyers are expected to take up some of this slack. But they have indicated they will not participate in the price cap scheme, wary of threatening relations with Moscow or being seen to bow to the west.Bernstein estimates Russia could require as many as 100 additional vessels willing to operate without western insurance to keep its oil flowing outside the cap. This is a level they think Russia will struggle to secure even if it can tap the so-called "dark fleet" of tankers used by sanctioned countries such as Iran. As a result, they think supply will fall, pushing prices to $120 a barrel next year, even with a recession.

Good right up on the online FT today...Confusion around the price cap has left the market thinking the EU can buy Russian oil," says Amrita Sen, head of research at consultancy Energy Aspects. "This is entirely mistaken, as the embargo supersedes the price cap." Oil markets could tighten "significantly" in the spring, Sen says. Russia has managed to export [its oil] pretty much at a constant rate," Rats says. "If it [the embargo] turns out to have teeth, and a lot of oil needs to be rerouted - and some will be lost in the process - then it will be positive for oil prices."Russian oil output has come back

Brent 83.35 .

Maybe the Chinese planned locking down until the population had a uprising , they'd do so if they wanted to become more authoritarian , easy for them with all the surveillance they have.
