Economy News _ Baghdad

The US Energy Information Administration announced, on Sunday, that Iraq's oil exports to America increased by 239,000 barrels per day during the past week.

The administration said in a report seen by "Economy News", that "the average US imports of crude oil during the past week from eight countries amounted to 4.901 million barrels per day, down by 584,000 barrels per day from the previous week, which amounted to 5.485 million barrels per day."

And she added, "America imported crude oil from Iraq at a rate of 239 thousand barrels per day during the past week, up from the previous week, in which the average exports reached 188 thousand barrels per day."

She pointed out that "most of America's oil imports during the past week came from Canada, at a rate of 3.254 million barrels per day, followed by Mexico, whose imports amounted to 462,000 barrels per day, followed by Saudi Arabia, whose imports amounted to 319,000 barrels per day, then Colombia, with a quantity of 319 thousand barrels per day. 211,000 barrels per day.

According to the administration, "the amount of US imports of crude oil from Brazil reached an average of 208 thousand barrels per day, followed by Nigeria, whose imports amounted to 137,000 barrels per day, and then Trinidad and Tobago, whose imports amounted to 71 thousand barrels per day," noting that " America did not import crude oil from Ecuador and Russia during the past week."

Fascinating to watch how the mm's manipulate the share price A 22k buy just flashed through at the mid-price followed by 6 instant AT trades, following which the quote was raised. :-)

Can someone remind me how much money little ole GKP will make every month at an oil price like todays $86+ a barrel and pumping out 55000 barrels every single day. I am pretty sure the share price should be rather larger than current price but not to mind I will buy some more on top of the more I bought reinvesting my considerable dividends received in this year. I presume GKP will have to pay out another interim interim dividend payment soon because of all the extra income

Surprised you have referenced Alali's tweet in 643756 above.
To me it does not indicate what I expect the PAT for the second half might be.

The tweet states average price of Brent was $65 per barrel for the 6 months to 30 June 2021.
An assumption is made that the above average will be $75 for the second half.
A 12% increase.
The half year results declared a PAT of $65m.
The tweet then goes onto state the second half will be $75m - ie a 12% increase, and $138m for the full year.

It is worthwhile looking at the six months results.

Average realised price for the six months to June 2021 $43.7 - PAT $64.8m
Average realised price for the six months to June 2020 $19.1m - Loss after tax $33.1m

So, far from simple - increase in oil price of, say 12% generates a 12% movement in profit.

So, for the avoidance of doubt - I expect not only a bigger increase in average price realised by GKP of 12% in the second half.
But also, a markedly larger PAT than $75m.

Like others, I expect a dividend to be declared in December, payable in Jan.
The Bond Holders want these dividends (and I love them too).
I am certainly expecting the share price to be north of £3 this time next year.
