Basically Boris should be saying drill baby drill and building greenhouse ASAP.

I agree. We should be fracking like their is no tomorrow and what BOJO should be saying down here in the SE , is install solar cells with battery storage and we will give you a subsidy to do so.

Good ole' Doggie

" It looks far too great for them imho.”

Correct for once. There is no way GKP can fast track development to 110k bblls a day they just dont have the resources , political clout , or Project Management experience for something this complex.

It will have to be done by a global INOC. ( As some of us have been telling you for years) and with politicians panicking all over the world about the current energy shortage (a consequence of their own incompetence) then that sale cant be too far away now.

IMO

Thankfully GKp can just pump everything into Turkey for a couple of bucks/bbl fee.

Funny how Oilman63 once pumped everything into a turkey and it didn't go so well.

Oil gas underinvestment

Don’t expect big oil to fix the energy crunch
Underinvestment highlights the complexities of shifting to clean energy

Oct 16th 2021
Power cuts in China. Coal shortages in India. Spikes in electricity prices across Europe. A scramble for petrol in Britain. Blackouts and fuel blazes in Lebanon. Symptoms of dysfunction in global energy markets are everywhere.

In recent days the mayhem has pushed oil prices in America above $80 a barrel, their highest level since late 2014. Natural-gas prices in Europe have tripled this year. Demand for coal, supposedly on the slag heap of history, has surged. The chief executive of one commodities-trading firm says he comes into the office at 5am in order to get the latest news on blackouts in one Asian country or another. And winter, with its need for heating, has yet to arrive in the northern hemisphere

UK coal-fired power generation jumped to the highest in a month, with wind generation slumping just as morning demand picked up.

Coal units run by Drax Group, Uniper and Electricite de France all started up this morning, bringing total coal-fired output to 1,493 megawatts, or about 3% of demand.

With natural gas costs still high and wind waning, peak power prices for Friday settled above 1,000 pounds a megawatt-hour in an auction Thursday, potentially boosting coal-fed production further.

The new UK energy minister has reaffirmed his support for the oil and gas industry as the COP26 climate summit beckons.

Greg Hands toured Aberdeen this week, in a visit including CHC, Harbour Energy, Balmoral Group and Oil and Gas UK ahead of the critical meeting of world leaders in less than three weeks.

It comes amid rising calls to “Stop Cambo”, a new oil project in the west of Shetland, and news earlier this week that Shell’s Jackdaw development in the North Sea had been blocked by regulator OPRED.

“Its well over the top now based on the CPR numbers, (imho it requires another downward adjustment) what their heavy oil is worth and taking into account the back ins from the hosts, problems with the field and the costs coming down the track. You clowns just don't appreciate how big a job the gas, water and pressure issues are and what they will cost. It looks far too great for them imho.”

So now is a good time to sell then Bigdog? and we shouldn’t take into account forthcoming events like 55k production? Maybe another dividend or two, and the chance of an agreed FDP?

Pensioner its just a matter of time. Voters have had enough of it and the tax rises to pay for it all. You would have thought Brexit would be a wake up call to politicians , but apparently not. At least not yet.

"Climate Change is actually due to increased sunspot activity on the sun - and will pass."

I wish some grown up would tell that to the snowflakes - h7. And the grown ups who are getting sucked in to this agenda. Maybe a cold winter will bring some reality to the situation.

Climate Change is actually due to increased sunspot activity on the sun - and will pass. We may be contributing to it but are not the cause of it. This , and other environmental "issues" are being used as an excuse to raise even more tax to pay off COVID borrowing before the taps are turned off by the Global Financiers.

There will be a massive voter backlash as always when the penny finally drops - as it is now. Which is why politicians are panicking. After all it makes sense to impose severe sanctions on your primary gas supplier - Russia . Right ?

Sadly ,intelligence and common sense, are not a pre requisite for UK Politicians.

LOL

"I wish Bigdog warned me when I bought in at 81p last September about the impending doom".

Of course you did.

With the pandemic coming under some sort of control and lockdowns being eased of course the OP was going to rise and that's why oil stocks were bought moron. If it wasn't for the hike in the OP the share price would be back at 1.25p or less.

Its well over the top now based on the CPR numbers, (imho it requires another downward adjustment) what their heavy oil is worth and taking into account the back ins from the hosts, problems with the field and the costs coming down the track. "So in other words Doggie ( a retired Insurance Broker)

Incorrect.

"thinks he is smarter than all these whizz kids that work for the likes of Goldman Sachs ?"

Not all of them but a great many.

"That explains why he lost all his cash on GKP and a few others".

That's what you hope happened but I can assure you it didn't which just makes it the usual BS that's expected of you.

"Has it ever occurred to you doggie that they / we are right and you are delusional ?

Hilarious."

Wait and see but the short answer is not for many years.

>> OT climate C02 is good .

Toxic CO2 is killing the planet and is at record highs. Unlike times gone by, CO2 and water and sunlight now have no place in the modern world. Except for growing food naturally, promoting natural health and maintaining the ecosystem.

Therefore, it is to be concluded that nature is failing and must be both politicised and commercialised with immediate effect. As should the continued maintenance and communication of accurate CO2 records to inform the general public of our shared dilemma. For the greater good you understand. But, you will be happy.

He did warn you/us, Why Now. He forecast the share price was headed for 50p several times. He's had to up that now and I think his latest projection was 150p but it's always below the prevailing share price But, as he keeps claiming, he's always right, innit. When all this is over I bet he gets nominated for an award for entertaining us whilst we waited.
