Not so bad Bravedog as the KRG said 2 mill a day in 2019 when they actually got 25% of that. Maybe they were thinking GKP might have been taken over by then. It is also MOCs that want GKP out of the picture as if they don't they will have a competitor in a few years.

ERBIL - A high-level US delegation is expected to pay a visit to Baghdad on Tuesday, Kurdish politician and former foreign minister of Iraq, Hoshyar Zebari, has revealed.

The delegation consists of officials from the US Department of State and Department of Defense, Zebari added, noting that the discussions may focus on cooperation and strategic alliance between the two countries.

This would be the first visit from the Biden administration to Iraq.

The National said on April 29 that a US delegation led by senior White House and State Department officials Brett McGurk and Derek Chollet, would be making its first visit to the Middle East in the upcoming days.

"A senior inter-agency delegation will be travelling over the coming week to discuss a number of important matters related to US national security and ongoing efforts towards a de-escalation of tension in the Middle East region," a US official said.

Other reports said that the delegation includes Joey Hood, the Acting Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, Derek Chollet, Counselor of the US Department of State, and Dana Stroul, the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD) for the Middle East.

Correction Bravedog, I have been on that website & they only state 2M barrels of oil per day in 2019...

By 2019, the region is aiming to produce 2 million barrels daily. By then, we envision the presence of a fully functional oil and gas industry, exporting oil to the world markets, and featuring downstream activities like petrochemicals, fertilizers, and other energy-intensive industries.

In March, I was able to find a map from Krg showing the planed heavy oil pipeline from Shaikan to Turkey at

It has now disappeared and is redirected to where outdated information is available. They are projecting a 2 bil bl oil production in 2019...

Strange that both KRG and GKP have changed their website.

But the RNS of 12/1/2012 mentioning the tender for a 450 kbd pipeline is still missing.
