Although we have heard similar reports many times about agreements being close this report sounds very promising and fingers crossed we may be getting somewhere? Biscuit munching can't go on forever and both sides now really need to sort things out as they are both hurting badly in this post Covid-19 eco environment.

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – The Russian government on Friday accused the United States of “illegally trading” in Syria’s oil resources, in response to media reports that local Kurdish-led forces in northeastern had Syria made an agreement with an American company to modernize oilfields there.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R, South Carolina) first revealed on July 30 that the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), the partner of the anti-ISIS Coalition in northeast Syria, had signed a deal with the US firm, Delta Crescent Energy.

Graham’s remarks came during testimony from Secretary of State Mike Pompeo before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on the State Department’s budget for the next fiscal year. Pompeo confirmed his support for the oil agreement.

Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the deal amounted to “systematic violations of international legal standards and international humanitarian law by Washington, its commitments as an occupying power.”

Moscow’s statement claimed the US is “illegally occupying territories in the northeast and south of Syria.

WASHINGTON DC (Kurdistan 24) – Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi will arrive in Washington shortly to meet with President Donald Trump, who “will welcome” him “to the White House on August 20,” the White House Press Secretary announced late on Friday.

Kadhimi took office on May 7, after the resignation of Adil Abdul Mahdi, following months-long protests in Iraq against government corruption and a lack of basic services.

After Kadhimi became prime minister, Washington initiated a “strategic dialogue” with Baghdad to review all aspects of ties between the US and Iraq and move beyond a relationship focused narrowly on fighting ISIS, which, in the US view, has been largely defeated.

Thus, the White House statement explained “as close partners,” the two countries “will look to expand our relations across a range of issues, including security, energy, health care, and economic cooperation.”

It was great to catch up in town the other week. As you heard on the others, a lot of us have bedded down in the UK for the holidays this summer.

My own Italy trip was cancelled for the 2nd time thus far, so your offer is timely and welcome. I don't know how people can survive without proper holidays..

So when do the "in the industry experts" reckon the 55k will be achieved now?

Word on the street is 12-18 months away.

When the 40k/55k+ a day that was predicted to be "cheap, easy and fast" by a multi avatar cut and paste delusional poster FOUR YEARS AGO can it now be seen their argument failed miserably just like their other predictions have? I did point out at that time how difficult it would be to achieve and have been proved correct again.

Believing only what the company state about their plans is always an problem due to the fact they never deliver them. Then come the excuses from the loyal suckers across the different bb's in support, however they're of course only deluding themselves. But there again I understand the field's "issues" far better than most and certainly more than those that state they're "in the industry:-)

With all the issues at the field and now an almost certain impairment charge on the way a share price of 50p (half a penny) may be way over the top in a few weeks imho.
