Sale could well be announced this week.Almost certainly D-28 of scheme timeline occurred in break in buyback program Sept 2-9 , (that's why a break designed into program, to arrange irrevocables ,scheme schedule, after a watershed stock level achieved etc ) D-0 ( Sale by scheme RNS ) therefore between Monday Sept 30 - Oct 7th

Or of course they could be waiting till the share buyback has finished and short it to 180. Compared to its peers it's looking toppy and bopd results are not exactly over delivering.

Voleon still short 0.6%. They must be finding it difficult to acquire shares in competition with GKP or they are confident their short is worth holding. Rather them than me. The chart would suggest a strong breakout soon and it's more likely to be up than down with a cash-rich dividend payer.

LOFL.

johnyboy, did they let you drive their street sweepers?

A certainty you say, like you've been telling us for the past 10 years?

"Everyone is filling their boots"?

Is that why the share price has been falling?

Keep the merc serviced, that's a top tip.

RE: To Sell Or Not To Sell, That Is The Question.Today 08:01
BD by name, BD by nature.

Your queries sequentially:

1) If they’re still around I think they’ll change the way they compute the dividend going forward to something more akin to the norm, i.e. X pence per share;

2) I’ve thought about it overnight, and Section 42B (12)(a) is actually quite explicit in its meaning –
‘(12) Nothing in this section shall prevent a company from –
(a) making an allotment of shares as fully paid up bonus shares in respect of shares held by the company as treasury shares;’

I reckon this means that shares can remain as treasury shares while being allotted as being fully paid up bonus shares. If that’s correct (and it certainly reads like that) then it must be that those shares attract dividends as fully paid up bonus shares (that is the law) and yet still sit inside the wraparound description of being treasury shares, until they are released.

It seems to me that the above is the only logical and legal way of explaining the application of a dividend to treasury shares.

Unless GKP have simply miscalculated, (which was until recently, my preferred view).

Anyway, I too am reviewing my investment position, but lest we forget, I am an idiot!

All the above IMO, DYOR.

Incidentally, have you noticed the excitement this whole issue is generating across the boards?
Not so much here on LSE though eh?

Kurdistan Parliament Delegates Meet with Iraqi Counterparts in Baghdad

ERBIL - Delegates of the Kurdistan Region Parliament met on Friday with Iraqi counterparts in capital Baghdad to discuss the disputes between the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.

During the meeting, Sarko Azad, a member of the Kurdish delegation, told BasNews that the two sides shed light on the remaining issues between Erbil and Baghdad, where the delegation made it clear that the Kurdistan Region is expecting all its constitutional rights to be preserved before reaching any agreements with Iraq.

He further pointed out that they discussed the matter with members of the two committees of finance and natural resources at the Iraqi Council of Representatives, both sides finding it better for Erbil and Baghdad to reach a final agreement by the end of October.

The Kurdistan Region has been concerned over its share from the Iraqi budget bill for the year 2020.

HabscamScot 🤡

From my post earlier.

As far as workovers go I think you will find that SH1 & SH3 were on small tubing hence such a big increase. But unfortunately the other wells already have larger tubing fitted.

So ???

Come on HabscamScot.

On another note Have you checked an up to date shareholder register ???
